Investigation And Research On The Management Of Mathematics Wrong Questions For Junior High School Students

Abstract/Summary:
Exercises are pretty important in mathematics learning.When doing exercises,students make mistakes inevitably.If students can accurately analyze the causes of their mistakes and correct them in time according to their mistakes,they will gain experience and knowledge in the management process of math mistakes,thus continuously optimizing their knowledge network structure and improving their math scores.To analyze the status of the management level of wrong questions in junior high school students,the author mainly focuses on the following four questions:(1)In terms of mistake management attitude,mistake management behavior and mistake management strategy,how is the overall mistake management level of the students in Grade 6,Grade 7 and Grade 8?(2)Is there any difference regarding attitude,behavior and strategy in mistake management for students of different grades?(3)Is there any difference regarding attitude,behavior and strategy in mistake management for students of different genders?(4)Is there any difference regarding attitude,behavior and strategy in mistake management for students of different academic levels?By referring to the questionnaire of high school students’ mistake management behavior compiled by Liu Rude,the author has compiled a questionnaire via linking with the survey objectives of this study.Students of Grade 6,7 and 8 from a public school with relatively medium teaching level in Xuhui District of Shanghai were selected as the research subjects for the questionnaire survey.According to the analysis of the data from the questionnaire survey and the interviews with teachers and students,the author draws the following conclusions:(1)All junior high school students have positive attitudes towards mistake management,but there are some problems in mistake management behavior and mistake management strategy,especially in the training of mistake management strategy;(2)The students of different grades have significant differences in the management level of wrong questions.In light of mistake management attitude,behavior and strategy,the students in Grade 6 are significantly better than the students in Grade 7,and there is a tendency to rise in Grade 8;(3)The students of different genders have significant differences in the mistake management level.The female students’ attention to the mistake management,namely the attitude towards the mistake management and the performance of correcting behaviors,are better than the male students.However,the male students’ mistake management strategy is obviously better than the female students;(4)There are significant differences in the mistake management level among top students,medium students and students with learning difficulties.The students with learning difficulties are next to the top students and medium students in terms of three aspects.Top students are better than medium students in attitude and behavior,but worse than medium students in strategy.
