In the process of building a learning society in our country,promoting the development of community education is the key,which has aroused the great attention of the party and the country.Due to the differences in the actual situation in different regions of our country,the regional realistic factors are fully taken into account when carrying out community education activities,so as to find a suitable way for local community education.From the aspects of economic level and cultural deposits,Nanjing shares many similarities with many provinces and cities in China.Studying the development of community education in Nanjing will not only help improve the quality of community education in Nanjing,but also provide experience for other provinces and cities.In the process of research,the focus will be on sorting out the current achievements and problems in community education in Nanjing,and then provide corresponding solutions.Through investigation and analysis,this study found that Nanjing has been actively improving the quality of community education in order to promote the construction of a learning city,and has always attached great importance to top-level design;Pay attention to the level construction,has the city,district,township,community four levels of community education institutions;Good at developing resources,using libraries,gymnasiums and other places to carry out community education activities;Through the Internet technology,Nanjing study online(www.njstudy.com),a digital learning system platform for lifelong education in 12 districts of the city was developed.It shows that Nanjing city attaches importance to community education activities and has made many educational achievements.However,further investigation showed the community still exist many problems in the process of education activities,generally includes the following five: first is the lack of a sound policies and regulations,in the process of developing community education activities there is no uniform standard,community education gap growing,with some provinces and cities reform shows the trend of weakening;Secondly,residents’ attitude towards community education activities is becoming more and more negative,and the frequency of participating in activities is decreasing.Thirdly,the total amount of community education funds is less,it is difficult to maintain the necessary community education activities;Fourthly,the lack of experienced teachers in community education led to serious problems of "teacher difficulties".Fifthly,the modernization level of community education is not high,and the use of advancedscience and technology is insufficient.In order to further promote the high-quality development of community education in Nanjing,relevant departments and their staff should make joint efforts to thoroughly implement the concept of lifelong education,correctly understand the value of community education,and implement the reform of community education in the process of practical work.Government departments should promptly establish and improve policies related to community education,reasonably integrate various types of educational resources,promote mutual cooperation and communication among various departments,and accelerate the integration of educational resources.It is also necessary to establish a scientific mechanism for raising and using funds for community education,update educational resources regularly,and improve the overall quality of the education team.Keep up with the trend of The Times,actively guide local communities to unite and cooperate,and eventually form a community learning community.
