Mathematics Curriculum Standard of Full-time Compulsory Education(Beijing Normal University Press,2012)renamed "comprehensive and practical application" to "comprehensive and practical".As one of the four main courses in the compulsory education stage,it has a new definition of its educational connotation,educational value and curriculum objectives.Under the situation of "one standard and multiple books" in mathematics teaching materials for compulsory education in China,the content design of "synthesis and practice" in different versions of mathematics teaching materials has its own characteristics.From the perspective of mathematical modeling,this study analyzes and evaluates the contents of "synthesis and practice" in the mathematics textbook of junior middle school published by Beijing Normal University.The mathematics textbook for compulsory education(grade 7-9)published by Beijing Normal University has the characteristics of high usage,wide range of application and extremely representative.Therefore,this study takes the subject of "synthesis and practice" of the textbook as the research object.Based on the perspective of mathematical modeling,this study studies the use and compilation characteristics of this part of the textbook of Beijing Normal University edition through questionnaire survey and text analysis,and then puts forward reasonable Suggestions for the compilation and use of the textbook.Based on questionnaire analysis and text analysis,the following conclusions are drawn.The results of the questionnaire show that teachers and students have a high degree of recognition and interest in the teaching materials,but the teaching implementation is not optimistic.The text analysis results show that:Surface analysis found that:(1)in terms of the number,bnu edition textbooks "comprehensive and practical" three different mathematical model of project quantity and junior middle school mathematics "number and algebra","graphics and geometry","statistics and probability" of slightly different proportion,the content of special knowledge suggested teaching materials appropriate to increase the number of geometric model project.(2)in the aspect of text presentation,the textbook is worth improving in the aspect of text and text collocation.It is suggested to add charts and situations with bright colors,close to life and keeping pace with The Times,so as to enhance the readability and interest of the text.The deep analysis finds that :(1)in terms of content,the teaching materials are rich in topic types and the distribution of content depth model dimensions is slightly different,and the "comprehensive and practical" topic is conducive to the cultivation of students' application consciousness and innovation consciousness.(2)in terms of difficulty,the subject contents of different models focus on different difficulty factors."algebraic model" has higher requirements on operation and knowledge depth,but lowest requirements on problem scenario and reasoning level.The difficulty of "geometric model" is moderate,and the difficulty of each level is equal."Probabilistic statistics" has higher requirements on thinking expression and reasoning level,but slightly lower requirements on problem situation and operation level.(3)in terms of learning process and results,the content of the textbook "integration and practice" is close to life,and the compilation of the textbook is flexible and attaches importance to the process of activities.However,there are shortcomings in training students' thinking expression and guiding students to reflect,which need to be improved.
