A Survey Study On Csr Of Shanghai Yunpai Garment Co.,Ltd. Based On SA8000

Since the Reform and Opening-up,the economy,society and enterprises have all seen a rapid development,where the foreign trade becomes a pillar industry of the country,achieving world-reputed progress.With the adhesion of China into the WTO(World Trade Organization),more and more Chinese enterprises are paying attention to the issues of corporate social responsibility(CSR).Meanwhile,as the frequent scandals and issues are taking place,CSR begins to come into focus of all the circles of the society.China is a garment giant,and its exports rates no.1 in the world.But as the garment factories belong to the category of labor-intensive industries,where the production used to be organized in a rudimentary manner,the companies in the industry are all seeking the sole goal of profit maximization,while ignoring the protection of worker,consumer and environment.As a result,against the background of globalization,the acceleration of technological evolution and the changes of society's expectations on companies,how to explore and exploit the opportunities brought by CSR,and to meet the challenges of market,are becoming a key and urgent issue for garment companies in China.The dissertation takes Shanghai YunPai Garment Co.,Ltd.as an example,and from the current situation analysis of this company,proposes the research problem.Then based on stakeholders' theory,SWOT framework,Porter's Five Force analysis,and the 9 aspects of CSR's accreditation standard SA8000,the dissertation,by way of reference,interview and comparison,conducts a complete analysis on the existing problems as well as solutions in regard to CSR.The results offers experiences summary and analysis for garment companies to improve their CSR management level,and it can also be of reference for the whole garment industry to know the CSR status quo,to offer strategy design advice,and to put CSR into practice.
