| It has been nearly four years since President Xi put forward "Belt and Road"cooperation initiative in 2013.As two most important economies under "Belt and Road" strategy,China and European Union conduct the bilateral economic and trade cooperation which directly affects the process of "Belt and Road".At the same time,"Belt and Road" Initiative has also brought great opportunities to China-EU economy and trade cooperation."Belt and Road" Initiative will bring together and enlarge multi-advantages of geographical location,political mutual trust and mutual complements in economy between China and EU,which contributes to increasing the capacity of more powerful and lasting economy and trade,and promotes the bilateral economy and trade cooperation to a new level.Since the propose of "Belt and Road",China and other related countries in EU have made small cooperative achievement in bilateral trade,direct investment,infrastructure construction and other fields,so that the complement arities of bilateral cooperation are more prominent through "Belt and Road".At present,the growth of China-EU bilateral trade volume has been slowing,but the overall trend is good;China’s direct investment in EU has increased rapidly.Moreover,in the view of investment structure,the private enterprises participate actively,and industrial layout is more reasonable;furthermore,the current China-EU bilateral relation is more rational in the aspect of controlling economic and trade friction,and the characteristics of "promoting politics through economy,political and economic interaction" of China-EU relation are obvious.In the face of contradictions and frictions,the two sides mostly will be able to make a good control on the differences,so that the contradictions and differences will not continually upgrade to cause a huge impact.Historically,no matter it is that China and EU established diplomatic relations,signed a trade and economic cooperation agreement in 1985,or EU reconsidered and positioned the "long-term policy" to China in 1990s,one propose of national Initiative related to the political and economic relationship between both parties will have a huge impact on China-EU economy and trade cooperation.Currently,under the strategic background of "Belt and Road",China and the related countries in EU have broad prospects for economic and trade cooperationThrough the comprehensive summary of strategic significance as well as the in-depth interpretation of strategic planning based on "Belt and Road",the thesis interprets that the construction of "Belt and Road" combine the power,markets and civilizations between China and EU together,which has important significance on both China and EU,the countries along with "Belt and Road" and the world.Then,through combing China-EU economic and trade relations in different periods of history,the thesis focused on clearing the historical outline of China-EU economy and trade cooperation,and carried out a comprehensive and in-depth study on status quo,characteristics and existing problems of China-EU economic and trade relations development.Furthermore,combined with relevant economic and trade data,the thesis contrasted the international competitiveness of the key industries in economy and trade between China and EU.On the basis of comparative analysis,the thesis explored the potential,challenge and opportunity of China-EU economy and trade under "Belt and Road" strategy.Finally,it proposed some significant policies and suggestions to China-EU economy and trade relations development under "Belt and Road" initiative. |
