The Analysis To Chinese Pawn’s Development And Strategy Since The Reform And Openging

As the founder of modernfinance,the development path of the pawn is rough and obvious stage.The development of pawn is very smooth from produced in the Southern Dynasty,but then becoming weak.It struggled in operation before the founding of new China,and completely disappeared from then on.However,it stepped onto the stage of history again after the reform and opening.Pointing at the poor development status of pawn after refom and opening,the author of this paper use the method of documentary,interdisciplinary comprehensive demonstration and social psychological analysis to study the development status since the reform and opening and the development contermeasure in the future.By tracing the history of pawn,we can see that it have undergone a transformation from “main charactor”to “supporting actor”.As an important mainstream fianancial institution in the old period,pawn plays an important role in the development of people’s life and social economy.The pawn industry was originally created for purposes of charity.But because of increasing the rate of compromise to avoiding risk,it reflected the exploitation.Moreover,literary works in the description of the pawn also highlight the negative effect of exploitation.However,the successful experience of traditional pawn in management is worthy of modern refeerece.Through the study of the development of the domestic and international pawn since the reform and opening up,it can be seen that the overseas have the following characteristics.Firstly,large quantity,large scale,wide range of radiation.Secondly,the pawn objects are broad and business is diversitified,Because of foreign pawn operating in license mode,a pawn has multiple licenses.The business deals not only in finance,but also in the field of circulation and consulting.Thirdly,perfect supervision and management system,mature management concept.Abroad,the laws are better,and there are more mature trade assosiations not only between coutries,but also regions.Moreover,foreign pawn thinks highly of marketing in the business process.In this paper,the research on the status of domestic pawn is divided to aspects:mainland and Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwanregions.The status of pawn in the mainland:firstly,the industry expand rapidly.In2016,there were 8280 pawnshops,almost double the number of 4433 in2010.Secondly,large proportion of real esteals pawn.In all the pawn business,real esteal pawn,moveable pawn and property rights pawn account for 50.14%,35.51% and 14.3%respectively.More than half of the pawn business comes from real estate pawn.Thirdly,increased operational risk.It mainly displays three aspects:taking risks,dead pawn risks and competing riks Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan each have their own characteristics.The tradationl culture of Hong Kong pawn is remarkable and the supervision system is perfect.Pawn insdustry in Macao mainly relies on gambling,24 hours without interruption,when the object is limited to movable property.It can see“everthing is possible to pawn”in Taiwan,with unique “living pawn”.In the future development,Chinese pawn should learn from foreign experience,improving the regulation system,and setting up the business focus acording to the specific situation of the region.At the sametime,we must keep pace with the times,and attach important to marketing publicity.Modern pawn,as a non-mainstream fianacial institution,has made great contribution to social development.It is the most effective means of resisting illegal fianacing,and it’s fianacial attributes provide an opportunity for SMEs to raise money.Moreover,the circulation and storage function of pawn greatly facilitates the people’s life and adds energy to the market economy.In addition,the properity of modern pawn has promoted the development of traditional Chinese culture.However,modern pawn during development also faces the problems of shortage of talents,impefect superivision and marketing.In the development of modern pawn industry,we should pay attention to the distinction and inheritance between the traditional pawn and modern pawn,and take the essence and discard the dregs.On the one hand,the government should attach importance to the perfection of the legal system,the establishment of regional and national trade association to supervise and manage,and attach importance to the cultivation of the pawn talents in colleges universities.Pawn institution itself,on the other hand,to keep pace the times,innovation management,use “Internet+pawn”model for marketing,according to the characteristics of pawn regional differences.Finally,the article summarize the full text of the research content,mainly from publicity informatization,talents specialization,machanism technicalization and agencsies distributed equalization to look ahead the modern pawn industry.
