Twenty-first century is an information age,the application of information technology in the enterprise is also more and more widely,some large enterprises have also set up a special information management department to face competition in the market under information environment.Currently,more and more enterprises pay more attention to the information technology and information management mode while making their development strategies,thus the requirement of professional competence and management level of information department are increasing.Under these conditions,Shenghong group established information department to responsible for the group's internal information construction and place great expectations on it in order to adapt to the development of the enterprise needs.However,the performance evaluation index of information departement is not reasonable,which lead to the employee are lack of initiative,private complain more and question the fairness of the existing performance evaluation,the department's current performance management model is no longer able to adapt to the development requirement of information department.Therefore,performance management and employee's enthusiasm are the key of realizing strategy and goals.Firstly,this paper introduces background and significance of the research,the main research problems,the basic ideas and analysis framework,defines the concept of performance and performance management and explains the general process of performance management system design as well as introduces the major method of performance management;Secondly,this paper takes information department of Shenghong Group asas the research object,which is mainly focus on the study and analysis of the current performance management system and existing problems of information department and further elaborates the necessity and importance of performance management improvement;On this basis,this paper introduces the optimized design of performance management system of information department combining the goals and different job responsibilities of information department of Shenghong Group;In order to ensure the optimized performance management system can put into practice smoothly,this paper also proposes corresponding safeguard measures and introduces the expected effect of the optimized performance management system.The emphases of design for performance management system is performance plan,which is made not only based on strategic goals,but also it will take into account of the main responsibilities of different jobs,the difference of different jobs and the establishment of reasonable performance index system;Performance coaching and communication are the key to push forward the performance management system,sufficient coaching may win the approval of employees and improve the enthusiasm of the employees;Meanwhile,it will enhance employee' motivation if more attention are paid to application of performance results;Finally,the performance management system must have an appeal system,so that the performance management system can enter into a virtuous cycle.
