Pharmaceutical Enterprise Value Assessment Under The Merger Perspective

Pharmaceuticals industry is an important part of Chinese economy.Recently,the government puts into a mass of capital,and the medical insurance is more and more popular.A rapid growth period of Pharmaceuticals industry is coming.But at the same time,Chinese pharmaceuticals industry structure is behind the upgrade of the national economic structure.At present,there are a lot of pharmaceutical enterprises.They are not only small scale,but also chaotic.This phenomenon obstruct the development of the whole industry.So,an industry reform conforms to the times.In order to scale up to occupy the market,and to carry out diversified business strategies to reduce risks,many pharmaceutical companies choose a merger and acquisition way to transformation and upgrading.That is to say,there are more and more merger and acquisition events of pharmaceutical enterprises happen and the industry integration effect appears gradually.In this paper,the value of merged pharmaceutical company is the main study object.I study the characteristics of it and research what’ s the specific reasons that leads to the merger.So that I could find out the main value constituents of the merged pharmaceutical company.In addition,by analyzing the applicability of traditional assessment methods,I also find out the existing problems in it.According to these two researching parts,I build a new model to evaluate the value of merged pharmaceutical companies.At the end,I use a classical case happened recently to verify this evaluation model and give some countermeasures and suggestions.
