With the rapid development of IT industry,the challenges that we face is unprecedented.This makes IT enterprises have to pay attention to enterprise performance at all times,and enterprise performance is mostly from employee performance.Therefore,to improve the performance of employees is the most important part of the current work of the enterprise managers.Most of the past researches explored the influence of employees' job satisfaction and their own characteristics on their employees' work performance,while less research on external factors.In fact,as early as working characteristics of 1975 Hackman and Oldham put forward characteristics will affect the work performance,considering the particularity of enterprise IT,aims to explore the characteristics of IT enterprise influence mechanism on job performance,which features more influence,work engagement is not significant intermediary between the two.Based on literature research,this paper puts forward four hypotheses: first,IT industry has a positive impact on job performance;second,IT industry characteristics have a positive impact on employee work engagement.Third,IT industry employees' job involvement has a significant positive impact on job performance;fourth,job involvement has a significant mediating effect on job performance in T industry.Based on online and offline questionnaires of IT employees in three cities of Shanghai,Hangzhou and Nanchang,315 hypotheses were verified based on the analysis of effective data.At the same time,according to the conclusions,we put forward the following suggestions: one is to improve the work design,strengthen job rotation,job enlargement and job enrichment;two is fully authorized responsibility,enhance employee sense of importance;the three is to build a multidimensional performance feedback channel,timely give employees feedback;four is to improve the scientific level human resource management,combined with the industry characteristics of five is to strengthen the work of recruiting;incentive factors,establish factors and working results work process combining two-dimensional incentive mode factors.
