| The urban population of China was 81.47 million at the end of the year 2017 which is 58.52%of total population,an increase of 1.17 percentage points from the end of the previous year.At the same time,the level of urbanization in Fujian province also increased steadily year by year.From 1978 to 2016,the level of urbanization increased from 13.7%to 63.6%and has been significantly higher than the national average.However,urbanization is not always saturated but has some disadvantages,such as the transfer of surplus labor,urban absorption problems,employment problems,the widening income gap between urban and rural areas,the lack of income from agriculture,and the low level of rural household income;all these could be improved.The proposal for the ’ rejuvenation of rural areas ’ in 2017 points the way for the further development of urbanization.Rural areas could be developed by promoting urbanization.but more resources will be devoted to the rural areas where the population is continuing to flow out.weather it will cause the waste of resources and reduce overall resource allocation efficiency.This research is conducted to explain these issues from three aspects of the development of population urbanization in Fujian Province,the development of agricultural production,and the status of farmers’ income.According to the dual economic theory,population migration theory and agricultural development theory,combing the relevant academic frontiers to analyze the internal mechanism of population urbanization,agricultural labor productivity,and farmer income increase interaction,and establish the logical relationship between relevant variables.Based on the time series data of Fujian Province from 1987 to 2016,The Structural equation model(SEM)empirically analyzes the interactions among the three,studies internal links,and draws empirical results.The result is more innovative.Finally,based on empirical results,it proposes countermeasures for the coordinated development of the three,to further promote the development of urbanization and improve agricultural.The production capacity,as well as the increase in farmers’ income,provide effective decision-making reference and theoretical guidance.This article through empirical research draws the following conclusion:There is a two-way interaction between population urbanization and agricultural labor productivity,but it is limited by the employment structure and education level.The urbanization of the population and the income of the farmers are interacting with each other in the dynamic changes,but the intensity of their promotion is not the same.The role of urbanization in promoting the income of the farmers is stronger than the role of the income of the farmers in the development of urbanization.Urban construction and narrowing the income gap between urban and rural areas.There is indeed an integral and dynamic relationship between the development of population urbanization,the increase of agricultural labor productivity,and the increase of farmers’income.That is,the development of urbanization will promote the comprehensive development of all rural undertakings,and the rejuvenation of rural areas will also ease the process of urbanization.Based on the strategy of f rejuvenating rural areas,’ this article proposes policy in conjunction with the ’ Thirteenth Five-Year Plan.’ It is suggested that related departments should continue to increase the level of modernization of agriculture,through the construction of fields such as production efficiency,agricultural science and technology,financial security,and the establishment of entrepreneurial systems,and promote rural development,increase agricultural production,and increase farmers’income,so as to break through and restrict urbanization and rural agriculture in Fujian Province.Only by modernizing and coordinating the development factors,we can promote the steady modernization of agricultural development and achieve the coordinated development of urban and rural areas. |
