The issue of "agriculture, rural areas and farmers" has always been the focus of party and state work, and the problem of farmers' income is the key to the problem of agriculture and rural. In the past 40 years of reform and opening up,the central government has introduced a series of policies to benefit farmers and support them in order to improve their incomes. We will reduce the burden on farmers, raise their educational level, and increase their income through the elimination of agricultural taxes and the policy of "two exemptions and one subsidy" for rural education. However, the basic problem of farmers' low income in the social group has not been solved.Urbanization is not only the way to achieve modernization, but also an important way to increase farmers' income. The put forward to implement the strategy of rejuvenating the country, the party's 19 points out that the new era focuses on the current China's unbalanced development the problem of inadequate, with the new urbanization strategy to lead the country revitalization, through the development of urbanization makes the population and industry achieve optimal allocation between urban and rural areas, promote the development of urban and rural integration and the increase of farmers' income.Urbanization is a concept with multiple connotations including population, economy and land, etc. However, existing researches mainly use a single index to measure the relationship between urbanization development level and farmers' income, and seldom study the impact of urbanization on farmers' income from multiple dimensions.Does urbanization have an impact on farmers' income? Is the impact of multi-dimensional urbanization on farmers' income different? Is the urbanization development of different regions different in multiple dimensions? This is a matter of concern. This article from the perspective of multidimensional to urbanization impact on farmers' income as the research subject, the analysis of the effect of urbanization on farmers income mechanism, are based on Chinese provincial panel data from 2002 to 2014,using econometric analysis method, national and regional samples for multiple dimensions of urbanization affects the farmers' income statistical analysis and econometric analysis, and according to farmers different income sources, further empirical research on multiple dimensions of the influence of urbanization on farmers' income structure. To be specific, first of all, this paper has sorted out the theories related to urbanization such as "Dual sector model theory","Todaro urban-rural migration theory","Labor value theory","Wage difference theory" and other farmer income theories. On this basis, the paper establishes the impact mechanism of urbanization on farmers' income, and elaborates from the four dimensions of permanent resident population urbanization, registered population urbanization, economic urbanization and land urbanization. Then, using the relevant data of 31 provinces in China from 2002 to 2014,the measurement index system of urban dimensions and farmers' income was established to describe the urbanization and farmers' income levels and changes in various dimensions of China and sub-regions.Finally,using the provincial panel data, the model is built with farmer income as the explained variable, urbanization of permanent residents, urbanization of registered population, urbanization of economy and urbanization of land as the explained variable, for empirical analysis. The specific research conclusions are as follows: first, the theoretical analysis shows that the development of urbanization releases rural surplus labor force, promotes the flow of urban and rural population, and increases income by engaging in non-agricultural employment, scale operation and enjoying urban development benefits.Second, the empirical results show that:(1)Nationally,the development of the urbanization has significant effect to increase farmers' income, look from the regression coefficient of each variable, the population of permanent residents in the urbanization, population urbanization, economic urbanization, land urbanization and farmers' income in the 1% significance level was positively to significantly influence, regression coefficients were 0.165,1.074,5.320,0.180;The regression coefficient of the registered population is higher than that of the urbanization of the resident population, indicating that the urbanization of the registered population has a greater impact on farmers' income than that of the urbanization of the resident population.(2)From the perspective of sub-regions,urbanization has different impacts on farmers' income in different regions and different dimensions. The largest impact of urbanization of permanent residents and registered population on farmers' income is in the northeast region, with regression coefficients of 1.139 and 4.441 respectively, which passed the significance level test of 1%.However,land urbanization and economic urbanization have the largest impact on farmers' income in the central region, which is significant at the 1% level. The regression coefficients are 0.310 and 7.664,respectively.Based on the above analysis and discussion, this paper puts forward policy Suggestions that are conducive to better promoting the increase of farmers' income in the process of promoting urbanization from four aspects: carrying out skill training, improving the reform of household registration system, strengthening industrial support and rationally using urban space.
