Research On The Influencing Factors And Countermeasures Of Community Residents Participation In Tourism Development In Shaobo Ancient Town

With the success of applying for the World Cultural Heritage List of the China's Grand Canal,Shaobo ancient town's tourism boom continue to rise,the long history,the rich and bright cultural heritage,the antique buildings and the traditional way of life is waiting for mining.However,the tourism development of Shaobo ancient town has has a poor condition in recent years,the development of tourism product is slow,and the supply and demand of the tourism disorder.In this situation,Shaobo ancient town must grasp its own cultural gene,accelerating the development of the county economy and block economy,at the same time,paying attention to the participation of community residents.So by deeply analyzing the factors about the influence of the residents,this study seeks to explore the needs and suggestions of residents' participation in tourism development,which is hoped to be beneficial to the promotion of the tourism development of Shaobo ancient town.Based on the summarized and related literature and secondary sources,analyzing the status of residents' participation in tourism and existing problems of Shaobo ancient town from the level of community residents' participation,the content of community residents' participation and so on,leading to research the necessity of the influence factors of residents' participation in development of the tourism.Then,combining the predecessors' research with the actual status of residents' participation,this paper build the influence factors system of the community residents'to participation in the tourism,mainly including themselves factors of the community residents(age,marital status,educational level,income level,whether for the local residents,ability and consciousness of participation,influence perception of participation),the internal environmental factors of the community(government agencies,tourism association,tourism enterprises,tourists),the external environment factors of the community(economic development level of Shaobo ancient town,ancient culture development level of Shaobo ancient town,ancient political development level of Shaobo ancient town,tourism development level of Shaobo ancient town)in three aspects.We design the questionnaire which was based on the table about factors of the community residents' participation in tourism to obtain the survey data.The SPSS 19.0 software was used to measure the data reliability analysis,descriptive statistics analysis,variance analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis,exploring and validating the relationship between influencing factors and behavior,Conclusions are found as below:The characteristics of community residents such age,the level of education have a significant influence factors on residents themselves,the marital status of community residents do not have a significant impact on its own factors,the other factors such as the ability of participation in tourism,influence the perception of participation has a significant effect on community residents'participation behavior;Community internal environment factors and external environmental factors have a significant influence on residents' participation behavior.Among the internal environment factors,community government and tourist effect the residents' participation behavior more significantly.Among the external environment factors,the development of community tourism has a most significantly effect on residents' behavior.Finally,based on the results of the influential factors of residents' participation and problems which exist in the development of tourism,from the perspective of the government,people,non-governmental organizations,this study puts forward the strategy and suggestion about tourism product development,participation in the system construction,participation ability raise,and non-governmental organization cultivating.At the end of the paper,the author points out the shortcomings of this paper and the future direction of the research is prospected.
