A Study On The Production Of Urban Spiritual Consumption Space

The pursuit of spirituality in daily life has led to the attention of the Chinese,in terms of advocating healthy diet,natural remedies,holographic therapies,wishful thinking,and the pursuit of new spiritual growth and awareness raising since 21st century.The city has emerged a large number of new spiritual consumption space,such as vegetarian restaurants,yoga clubs,meditation clubs,Chinese medicine health museums,SPA clubs,bookstores and so on.The new spiritual practice and the resulting new spiritual space have become a new cultural and geographical phenomenon worthy of attention.This article selects the spiritual consumption space of vegetarian restaurants as the research object,introducing the spiritual theory and the concept of emotion,and explores the characteristics,changes and constituent factors and forming mechanisms of the spiritual consumption space in China;Exploring the characteristics of spiritual consumption space in the context of China,and interpret urban residents'new requirements of spiritual consumption space.Through the in-depth analysis of China's universal spiritual consumption space,Which reflect the cultural expressions,appeals,and identities of the middle class.The survey provide rational development direction for the current spiritual consumption space and provide scientific consumption space planning and management reference for the government?urban planning workers and other fields of business operators.Firstly,This article analyzes the characteristics and changes of the Chinese urban spiritual consumption space.It mainly analyzes the spiritual core of the Chinese and the characteristics of the Chinese urban spiritual consumption space.It is found that the Chinese urban spiritual consumption space has four characteristics:Chinese cultural implication,practicing Chinese traditional morality,presenting a blend of Chinese and Western cultures,and interacting with traditional modern tomography.And it explores the process of transformation from spiritual consumption space to spiritual space.Subsequently,it empirically explored the constitutional elements of the spiritual consumption space and the formation mechanism of the spiritual consumption space,and explored the constituent elements of the spiritual consumption space in the material space,the moral space,and the cultural space.It was found that the material space supported the moral space and morality.As the kernel,space is sublimated into a cultural space.At the same time,cultural space activates material space.The case in this article reveals that the diet as a secular daily activity can be linked with spiritual activity.As a special kind of embodiment practice,vegetarianism satisfies people's moral experience of "filial piety","benevolence"and the experience of health as the core of the new spirituality.Through the vegetarian practice of volunteer waiters and consumers,the BaweiZhai of Jiming Temple has formed a bottom-up moral space dominated by filial piety and benevolence.However,the WUJIE restaurant has formed a kind of moral space from top to bottom under the intention of the founder.Vegan consumers have constructed representational spaces of vivid emotional involvement through individual spiritual practice,which makes the vegetarian restaurant become the peaceful place and the spiritual home in the city,and continue to strengthen the personal sense of calm and belonging.The purpose of this paper is to explore the production of spiritual consumption space in China from the perspective of spirituality,to explore the characteristics,constituent elements,and formation mechanisms of the spiritual consumption space in the context of China,and to present the suggestion of consumption space from macro?meso,and micro perspective to guarantee the spiritual attainment of the Chinese.The whole thesis contains about 53 000 words,19 pictures and charts.
