Study On Evaluation Of Land Comprehensive Carrying Capacity In Fuyun County

To carry out land-related greening operations,promote comprehensive land management,strengthen the protection and restoration of wetlands,grasslands and forests,and increase the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources are important foundations for promoting the formation of a new pattern of modernization in which people and nature live in harmony.In recent years,rapid population growth,predatory development and consumption of natural resources have triggered a series of serious ecological and environmental problems,and the carrying capacity of land resources has reached a critical state.However,the human needs for a better life are still growing,and the contradiction between the demand for unlimited growth and the limited supply of land resources is becoming increasingly prominent.Under this background,it is necessary to carry out a study on the comprehensive carrying capacity of land resources to meet the development needs of the greatest number of people within the limit of land carrying capacity,and create a civilized development environment with productive development,a prosperous life,and a good ecology.The paper takes Fuyun county in Altay,Xinjiang as the research area.Fuyun County is located in the southern part of the Altay Mountains,the northern edge of the Junggar Basin,and its natural eco-environment is very fragile.Fuyun County is dominated by livestock.Overgrazing has caused severe grassland degradation and pressure on natural pastures.At the same time,the industrial development of Fuyun County is dominated by the mineral industry.The development of mineral resources has led to a series of ecological problems such as serious environmental pollution,surface morphology and geological environment destruction.Thus,based on the research data of land use change and social development statistics from 2010 to 2015 in Fuyun County,we started the research with the carrying objects of comprehensive land carrying capacity and analyzed the current situation of natural resources,social economy,and ecological environment.Based on this,24 indicators were selected from the four criteria levels of resources,economy,society,and ecology,and an evaluation index system for land comprehensive carrying capacity in Fuyun County was constructed;and a comprehensive evaluation model for multi-factors was used to calculate 2010-2015.In Fuyun County,the assessment value of comprehensivecarrying capacity of land was identified,and the impact factors for restricting development were identified.Finally,the suggestions for sustainable development of Fuyun County were proposed.Through the above analysis,the main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,from 2010 to 2015,the comprehensive carrying capacity of land in Fuyun County was at a moderately low level,but the evaluation value showed a fluctuating upward trend.In 2010,the carrying value was 0.281,which was in a low-level bearing state.It rose to 0.517 in 2015 which was in an intermediate carrying state.The resources,economy,society,and ecology changed a lot,but mutual support and mutual influence were low.The coupling coordination between subsystems was relatively low,and the coupling coordination mechanism cannot be well formed,which affected the enhancement of the comprehensive land carrying capacity to a certain extent.Secondly,according to the short-board theory,it can be seen that the limiting factors of the comprehensive carrying capacity of land in Fuyun County are different in different years.In 2010,the limiting factor was the economic bearing system.In2011 and 2015,the limiting factor was the social bearing system.In 2012,the limiting factor was the ecological bearing system.In 2013,the limiting factor was the resource bearing system.In 2013,the limiting factor was the resource bearing system and the social bearing system.Thirdly,the countermeasures and suggestions for improving the land comprehensive carrying capacity of Fuyun County are proposed from four aspects which are improving the carrying capacity of resources,increasing the economic carrying capacity,improving the social carrying capacity and improving the ecological carrying capacity.
