In the new stage of supply-side structural reform in the agricultural economy,the development of agricultural modernization in China cannot be achieved without the informatization of rural agriculture.It is particularly important to study the effect of rural informatization level on the effect of agricultural TFP in this critical period.On the basis of promoting the upgrading of agricultural industrial structure,the improvement of rural agricultural informatization effectively transfer more agricultural scientific and technological information to rural residents.It not only promotes the transformation of agricultural scientific technological achievements and its application in agricultural production,management and sales,but also reduces the cost of agricultural production and improves the efficiency of agricultural production,so as to increase production and increase efficiency of agricultural production.On the basis of literature review of previous studies,This paper identifies research objectives,research ideas and possible innovations,deeply comprehending the connotation of rural informatization and the agriculture TFP,and in-depth analysis the influence mechanism of the rural informatization to the agricultural TFP.It is suggested that the rural informatization level mainly affects the change of agriculture TFP through four ways,such as agricultural technology innovation,improve the quality of farmers' science and technology and their ability to use science and technology,the efficient transfer of information and the reduction of information asymmetry,save transaction cost and reduce the risk of transaction.This paper establishes an index system which can reflect the level of rural informatization in our country,finally select 4 first-level indicators,and 12 secondary informatization indexes,and analyzing the trends and regional differences of the 12 indicators.Then,this paper measured the rural informatization index of 31 provinces in China from2001 to 2015,and analyzed the result of the measurement.Next,on the basis of establishing the input and output index of agricultural TFP,a DEA-Malmquist method was used to measure agriculture TFP and its decomposition index in 31 provinces of China from 2001 to 2015,and the measurement results are analyzed in time trends and regional difference.On the basis of chapters 3 and 4,This paper building a dynamic panel data model by using the system GMM estimation method,use that rural informatization level as the primary explanatory variable,the rural humancapital level,rural natural disaster,financial support and the change of agricultural output value as four control variables,and use the agricultural TFP accumulative index,agro-technical progress accumulation index and agro-technical efficiency accumulation index as three explained variable respectively,established three influence functions of rural informatization level on agricultural TFP,rural informatization level on agro-technical progress and rural informatization level on agro-technical efficiency,to analyze whether the impact of rural informationalization level on the agricultural TFP is caused by technological progress effect or technical efficiency effect,and the regional differences in the effect of rural informatization on agricultural TFP,the main conclusions are as follows:First,rural informatization,as a driving force to promote agro-technical efficiency and agro-technical progress,has a great connection with the agricultural TFP,and the development of rural informatization level plays an important role in the growth of agricultural TFP.Second,the level of rural informatization in the whole country and the eastern,central and western regions increased significantly from 2001 to 2015,but the level of informatization among different regions was significantly different,from high to low in the eastern,central and western regions.Third,the agricultural TFP in China in 2001-2015 shows the trend of decreasing in the east,middle and west,and There is loss of agro-technical efficiency in China.The growth of agricultural TFP is mainly due to the growth of agro-technical progress,while the negative growth of agro-technical efficiency has hindered the improvement of agricultural TFP.Fourth,the effect of rural informatization level on the agricultural TFP has different performance in different regions.The rural informatization level in the eastern region promotes the agricultural TFP is mainly because technical efficiency effect,and the rural informatization level in the central and western regions promotes the the agricultural TFP growth is mainly because technical progress effect.
