Research On The Characteristics Of Regional Association Network From The Perspective Of Enterprise Organization

While economic globalization and informationization are promoting economic development,they have also promoted the links between cities.The flow elements such as capital,technology,and information make the links between cities and regions more and more compact and help to form a city network.In the Internet era,regional cities need closer exchanges and collaborations.Wuhan East Lake National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone(hereinafter referred to as East Lake High-tech Zone)is an important agglomeration of high-tech industries in Wuhan and an important carrier for Wuhan to strengthen its ties with neighboring cities.At present,research on urban networks has yielded fruitful results.Urban infrastructure research based on infrastructure routes,urban network research based on factor flows,and urban network research based on corporate organizational paths are the three most important research paths.However,prefecture-level cities are main basic research units,former researches mainly focus on large-scale regional urban networks and even world-wide urban network research.The research on "graininess" is not precise enough.As for data,the top 100 companies have less research based on subdivided industries;and for research objects,most of the prefecture-level cities are research objects,and there is a lack of research on the associated characteristics of"urban internal functional areas".From the perspective of research,there is a lack of research on the characteristics of the regional network of "urban functional areas" from the perspective of corporate relations.This article takes East Lake Hi-tech Zone as the research object,takes the chain model and "headquarters-branch law" as the basic research methods,and uses five strategic emerging industries(optoelectronic information industry,bio-industry,new energy,energy conservation,environmental protection)of Wuhan East Lake High-tech Zone as datasource.The "districts and counties" were used as the basic unit to study the regional association strengths and associated network characteristics of the East Lake High-tech Zone and the surrounding districts and counties.The research has been divided into two scales,namely,the "Wuhan administrative region" and "Wuhan City Circle".This article explores the characteristics of the respective regional networks of the "industry-wide" and "five strategic emerging industries".This article takes East Lake High-tech Zone as an example,with districts and counties as the basic research unit,and through the research of five major industries,it reveals the characteristics of the associated networks of East Lake High-tech Zone and the surrounding districts and counties.The research finds that:(1)The external association of East Lake High-tech Zone is dominated by internal relations with Wuhan,and there is a "chain-effect" in the administrative boundary of the city.The main linkages are concentrated within the administrative boundaries of Wuhan City and are less relevant to the districts and counties outside the municipal area.(2)The overall connection between the East Lake High-tech Zone and the districts and counties within the Wuhan City Circle is weak,and the level of regional cooperation needs to be improved.(3)In the surrounding area,the correlation between East Lake High-tech Zone and Jiangxia is higher than that of Ezhou.(4)In the leading industries,the Modern equipment manufacturing industry has strong external links,and the Optoelectronics Information industry has strong internal links.Companies in different industries have different spatial organization characteristics,so projections in the regional space have different characteristics of the associated network.(5)On the development axis,there are more connections within the districts and counties of "Wuhan-Ezhou-Huanggang-Huangshi" towns,and the axis function of the "Wuhan-Ezhou-Huanggang-Huangshi Belt" has become apparent.In view of the characteristics of the associated network in East Lake High-tech Zone and the problems in regional collaboration,this paper proposes planning recommendations:Firstly,based on the "Yangtze River Economic Zone" and "Wuhan-Ezhou-Huanggang-Huangshi Axis",continue to consolidate and strengthen industrial linkages with district-county-level counties along the route;secondly,promote the industrial clusters and external contacts of Optoelectronics Information Industry;Thirdly,try to overcome the constraints of the city's administrative boundaries,and promote greater corporate relationships.From the perspective of research,the introduction of different industrial ministries expands the scope of urban network research from the perspective of corporate organizational relations,and effectively compensates for the limitations of single industry types such as service industries or manufacturing industries.Innovations of this research are the "grain size" of objects and the "accuracy" of data,which may enrich existing results of urban networks.It also provides important reference for the optimization of urban industrial spatial structure,rational guidance of urban functional layout and improvement of regional coordinated development mechanism.
