Study On The Change Of Consumption Structure Of Rural Residents In Guangzhou

After the 13 th five-year plan,China entered a key period of economic growth driven by consumption.The government implemented policies to promote strong consumption growth.But,consumption of urban and rural residents continue to wide under the system of urban and rural dual structure widening which seriously influencing the consumption policy of our country and economic sustainable and healthy growth.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the changes of the consumption structure of rural residents in this context.The study is beneficial to grasp the hot spots and demands of residents,to promote the reform of the side supply and to formulate the scientific consumption policies,to solve the contradiction between supply and demand,to help residents to establish a reasonable consumption structure,and to realize sustainable economic development.This article selects the consumption of rural residents of Guangzhou.Respectively from the calendar year longitudinal and transverse comparison,analysis of the current situation of the consumption structure of rural residents in Guangzhou city.It was found that,with economic growth,that consume consumption and average consumption tended to increase significantly,However,per capita consumption rate is still low,which affects the transformation of Guangzhou's economic development mode;Secondly,the change of consumption structure of rural residents in Guangzhou presents "U" shape,At present,the growth of structural change mainly comes from the basic consumer goods;Finally,we conclude that the gap between urban and rural residents' consumption levels has gradually increased.The development speed of rural residents is lower than other similar areas.Meanwhile,we use the ELES model to further analyze the consumption data of rural residents of Guangzhou in 2015 and 2016.It is concluded that the rural residents' demand for development and enjoyment are same.The demand structure is changed.On the one hand,housing and transport are becoming hot demands;on the other hand,culture education and health care are reducing.The consumer structure of the rural population is less affected by the price and earnings of 2015,and with less demand and more motivation,consumption is more and more rational.Based on the analysis results,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions to provide reference to the improvement of the consumer structure in the rural areas and development of the economy of Guangzhou.
