Enterprises will be in different stages of network tie.How to use network tie to improve strategic performance is a concern for all companies.Under resource constraints,the establishment of a suitable network tie can enable enterprises to obtain key resources and improve strategic performance.However,most of the existing researches have been rigidly focused on the direct influence of the structural characteristics of network tie on firm performance.They have not been able to combine resource-based theory and organizational learning theory from the perspective of key resource acquisition,and have explored the internal mechanisms between network tie and strategic performance.This paper uses the method of case study,and takes Great Wall Co.,Ltd.as the case research object to explore the relationship between the structural characteristics of different stages of network tie and the acquisition of key resources,and how interactive results can improve strategic performance.This is done by comparing the growth stage and mature stage of network tie to construct the influence mechanism of “structure-resource-strategy performance” in different network tie stages.The study finds that: Firms have a balanced strength in the growth stage of network tie,and obtain material resources as the driving force.They form a combination of supplementary resources bundles and complementary resources bundles.Combining exploitative learning with the formation of interactive outcome mechanisms to enhance strategic performance.At the mature stage of network tie,it is dominated by strong network tie,and the connection of knowledge and technology resources is the driving force,resulting in the interactive results of complementary resources bundles and exploratory learning,affecting different aspects of strategic performance.Based on that,the theoretical framework of the path of interaction between different stages of network tie and key resources to enhance the strategic performance was finally constructed.The research conclusions reveal the reasons that the network tie influences the strategic performance of the company,highlight the co-evolution of the enterprise network tie structure and resources,and help to understand the mechanism of change and the effect of the enterprise network tie,and provide guidance to prevent the industrial cluster from deteriorating,integrate external resources to enhance competitive advantage and improve strategic performance.
