Research On The Development Of Digital Economy In Hubei Province Based On Technical-Economic Paradigm

The digital economy is a new technical-economic paradigm of the information age.Digital economy is of great significance in promoting the transformation of economic and social,reconstructing the social industrial and institutional structure.Digital economy has become an important issue of the government and the theoretical community.Under the background of the local governments' digital economy development,revealing the current status,characteristics,and problems of local digital economy development and proposing specific digital economic development measures from the theoretical perspectives,is of great significance in formulating the policies with local characteristics,promoting the rational development of the local digital economy.First of all,the concepts and theories of the digital economy was discussed,and digital economy was thought as a new form of the digital technology-economic paradigm.According to the three dimensions of the technical-economic paradigm: technical system,social production,and service governance,digital economy was divided into four types: "Basic-Technology-Convergence-Service".Secondly,taking the digital economy of Hubei Province as the research object,based on the evaluation index system of digital economy development from the perspective of the technical-economic paradigm,the development of digital economy in Hubei Province from 2011 to 2016 was measured by the use of the entropy value method.And then,based on the measurement results and statistical data,the current status of digital economy development in Hubei Province was evaluated: the influence of the four digital economy types and indicators was discussed,the development trend of subdivision indicators was analyzed,and the development characteristics,advantages and deficiencies of Hubei's digital economy was summed up.Finally,based on the assessment results,the countermeasures and suggestions was proposed from the two major aspects of development priorities and safeguard measures.
