As a big country of traditional furniture industry,the more than 20 years before China appeared the period of rapid development and growth.However,due to the intensification of the global competition,the overcapacity of the low end,the change of consumption structure and mode,it is hard to adapt to the actual needs of the current competition the in the way of the simple industry gathering.Because Chengdu furniture Industry Park is facing important operational management challenges and transformation and upgrading challenges,its strategic transformation research has important practical significance.This topic is carried out in accordance with the following ideas: on the background of the development of the industrial era furniture industry concentration and industry collaboration of domestic and international contrast research;research on the development process,China's furniture industry development characteristics,the national furniture cluster operation management mode and universal problems.The typical problems,development and competition trend,regional industrial policy and operation management characteristics of Chengdu furniture industry and park development process and industrial structure are studied.A combination of long-term field investigation and theoretical analysis is adopted.Research and grasp the industry and development data.Based on this,we study strategic transformation strategy through PEST,SWOT and other theoretical research tools and practical research methods.Looking at the industry as a whole,the study finds the following opportunities and challenges: First,the degree of globalization,such as the division of labor within the industry,the flow of industrial elements,and the industrial procurement,has a profound impact on the development of the industry;Second,the simple agglomeration of industrial clusters is difficult to form an effective support for industrial upgrading;Third,environmental protection policies and industrial transfer problems plagued the cluster and enterprise development;Fourth,the market share of finished furniture has been reduced,and the wave of customization of the whole house,represented by customization has arrived.The cross-border competitors,such as home decoration enterprises,real estate companies,IT enterprises,etc.,are constantly entering,and the consumption of finished furniture is changing to the consumption of engineering orders,which has gradually subverted the scene and transaction mode of the original furniture consumption.From the view of Chengdu Furniture Industry Park,the following five problems are mainly faced: First,the industrial cluster with Chengdu Furniture Industry Park as the center has poor industrial concentration,and there are many small and micro enterprises.The present situation of "small and complete" industrial development and division of labor has not adapted to the current market competition and the needs of industrial development.Second,the original management and service mode of Chengdu Furniture Industry Park has not adapted to the changing needs of industrial development;Third,the existing industry bearing mode cannot effectively support the industrial development,cannot guide the cluster enterprises to participate in the global industrial value chain division of labor;Fourth,many small and medium-sized furniture enterprises are faced the practical problem of environmental protection,high cost of local raw materials,shortage of industrial land;Fifth,local enterprises "small and complete" heavy assets transformation development mode of high cost,high risk,long cycle,the failure of the transformation or the inability to transform,leading to the problem of industrial loss is prominent.The study made the following recommendations for transformation: The essence of strategic transformation is to reposition the function of the park under the background of the era of the differentiation of existing conditions.In order to improve the industrial efficiency under the premise of orderly industrial transfer,differentiated development and management service model platform support and innovation.There are two specific measures: On the one hand,the function of the industrial park from the industrial park to the industrial service platform of the transformation of the park;On the other hand,Chengdu Furniture Industry Park operation and management mode from the administrative management to the industrial operation management service platform model transformation,promote the separation of administration and operation management,explore the marketing business model of operation management.The innovation of this research is reflected in two aspects: the first is the research on the strategy of the transformation from the function orientation of the industry-led park to the functional transformation of the industrial service platform,pointing out the transformation plan of the park from the hardware service carried by the space to the soft power that attaches importance to the industrial service;The second is the park operation and management mode to market-oriented platform service mode transformation,and the exploration of the market-oriented business model of the operation and management of Chengdu Furniture Industry Park.Due to the limitations of current research conditions and research level,the research does not involve the establishment of rules for industrial service platform and the calculation of economic profitability.This is the direction of future research,and needs to continue to follow up research.
