Studies On The Development Of Urban Agriculture Zhongshan City

Urban agriculture first appeared in developed countries,Singapore,The United States,Netherlands,France and Japan and other countries has developed modern urban agriculture in accordance with their respective national conditions.In some large cities in China,urban agriculture continued to show rapid growth trend,especially in the big cities like Beijing,and Shanghai,which first conducted the innovation and research of urban agriculture theory and practice.With the continuous progress of urban agriculture,the agriculture had new features in its function,shape,structure and production.Meanwhile,it has changed the business structure and management direction of rural metropolitan suburbs in China and has accelerated the sustainable development of ecological garden city with excellent environment.As for Zhongshan City,it started its urban agriculture late but it has good development currently.This essay described the present situation of urban agriculture of Zhongshan City and analyzed the development of its urban agriculture by SWOT,basing on the theoretical research and combining the background of urban agriculture.Based on the analysis,the author pointed out the main problems of urban agriculture development of Zhongshan City.And combining with the typical experience of urban agriculture development both at home and abroad,the author put forward some countermeasures for the further development of urban agriculture of Zhongshan City,which provided some reference value for further improving the development of urban agriculture of Zhongshan City and provided scientific evidence to promote the theoretical research and practice of the urban agriculture as well.(1)The present situation of urban agriculture development of Zhongshan is as follows: the foundation of agricultural development has been continuously strengthened,the agricultural industry structure has been optimized continuously,the agricultural industrialization has developed well,the agricultural base has developed to the park,the agricultural industry has developed obviously,and the major objectives of the twelfth Five Years Plan of agricultural development have been completed well;(2)Based on the SWOT analysis of urban agricultural development of Zhongshan City,the main problems of urban agriculture of Zhongshan City are as follows:(1)the agricultural industry structure is lack of coordination;(2)urban agriculture development has a negative impact on the urban environment;(3)the growth of farmers' income is slow;(4)lack of agricultural science and technology talents;(5)the rural agricultural science and technology talents are old ages but the number of them is just a few;(6)the overall quality of science and technology is poor because the rural agricultural science and technology talents have low educational level;(7)rural science and technology education still has a lot to work on and so on.(3)According to the typical experience of urban agriculture development at home and abroad and the development of Zhongshan City,the author put up the following countermeasures of further development of urban agriculture of Zhongshan City:(1)strengthen the government's macro-coordination of urban agriculture development;(2)coordinate the layout of agricultural industry structure;(3)increase investment in agricultural infrastructure to form the form multiple investment mechanism;(4)innovate land transfer mechanism to achieve agricultural scale benefits;(5)strengthen the training of agricultural science and technology talents;(6)establish the system of the technology services and promotion;(7)develop relevant measures to mitigate the environmental impact of agricultural production activities.
