Land is the foundation of human existence and the cornerstone of development.China is a developing country with a large population and a large agricultural country. The land issue has always been a strategic issue of great significance in the process of economic and social development. The cultivated land of China is very scarce, with an area of 2.024 billion Mu and 7 percent of the world's cultivated land supporting nearly 20 percent of the world's population. At present, the city of Hubei has 617,000 Mu of cultivated land, with a population of 1,094,300,of which 357,100 are agricultural, with a very limited area per capita. The annual and seasonal land of the city of Ezhou is 294,000 Mu and 42,600 Mu respectively. However, limited land resources are still abandoned and idle, the contradiction of more and less people is more serious and acute, the reserve resources of rural land are also seriously insufficient, more than half of which are distributed in areas that are difficult to develop and use, such as soil erosion, salinization and water scarcity.Rural land clearing in Ezhou directly affects the area of local grain cultivation, reduces the production efficiency per unit of land, and endangers the food security in this city and even Hubei province. It is the important work of government departments at all levels in our country to find out the reason and find effective measures to control the rural land abandonment on this basis. The information obtained is collated and analyzed by consulting relevant documents and websites, collecting and collating relevant information, and obtaining first-hand information directly from farmers through field surveys. The rural land abandoned in the city of ezhou is increasing gradually, the main reason is that the rural infrastructure is not perfect and the whole quality of the farmers is low,the risk of agricultural planting is great, the farmers input high income is low,hit farmers enthusiasm for growing grain,so the farmers as brokers have gone out to work, rural land is abandoned.Agricultural land abandoned famine not only leads to the decline of agricultural output, endangering food security, and is not conducive to the development of rural economy and the construction of new rural areas. At last, through summarizing the success of the settlement of waste in duzhen, the rural land abandoned in ezhou city needs to focus on the increase of farmers and develop ecological agriculture with local conditions; The State shall increase its support to agriculture and improve the construction of agricultural infrastructure; We will foster a new type of agricultural management body, improve the overall quality of farmers and improve land transfer policies, speed up the pace of land transfer, and effectively deal with the problem of land abandonment in rural areas. This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter of introduction, focusing on the reasons, research significance, literature review, research methods and this article's innovation and deficiencies. The second chapter mainly describes the status and characteristics of agricultural land abandonment in the city of Ezhou through statistical yearbook and field questionnaire survey. The third chapter summarizes the reasons why agricultural land abandoned in the city of Ezhou. In the fourth chapter, the author analyzes the case of solving the agricultural abandonment problem in the city of Ezhou,Tiezhen Blueberry Base. The fifth chapter puts forward the countermeasures of agricultural land abandonment based on the research results of the second and third chapters.
