Along with the rapid development of the global economy and the increasing public interest in tourism consumption,the popularity of tourism economic culture has reached an unprecedented level.Tourism has developed into a global activity in such an economic environment,even in 2016.Ranked as "one of the fastest growing industries in the current world economic tide".However,it is undeniable that with the vigorous development of the tourism industry,its dependence on the natural environment and its impact have become more and more serious,and the scope of its influence is increasing day by day.For example,the depletion of tourism resources and the serious pollution of the natural environment have occurred.A variety of environmental' problems such as ecological damage.People gradually realize that in addition to pursuing economic growth,social progress should also consider environmental issues.Due to the increasingly serious environmental problems,the issue of tourism industry development and environmental coordination has gradually become a major issue that cannot be ignored.In view of the above phenomenon,one of the most effective methods for enterprises is to try to transfer some of the focus of attention to social responsibility,and actively participate in it,and assume and perform corresponding duties.Hotel companies that are regarded as one of the three pillar industries of the tourism industry have developed rapidly in environmental practices in recent years,and relevant academic research is urgently needed to support the theory.In order to expand the relevant theoretical research,this paper reveals the current situation of hotel group corporate social responsibility in the environment through content analysis,and analyzes the theme strategy of hotel company CSR environmental practice,including horizontally studying the matching degree between CSR activities and its core business.And from the vertical analysis of the hotel CSR in terms of environmental aspects of the coherence.Finally,a model of the hotel CSR environmental practice was constructed.Providing practical directions for hotel companies to promote the development of hotel corporate social responsibility practices.First of all,this study briefly reviews the CSR research done by relevant scholars,and summarizes the definition,content,dimensions and related theories of corporate social responsibility in the first part.The second part systematically sorts out the literature on hotel corporate social responsibility,analyzes the current situation of hotel corporate social responsibility,and analyzes the uniqueness of hotel companies as one of the three pillar industries of tourism,mainly compared with manufacturing.The third part focuses on the research of environmental responsibility literature in CSR practice,and summarizes the economic results brought about by the status quo of environmental responsibility and environmental responsibility.The fourth part focuses on the topic strategies commonly used in CSR activities,including horizontal topic matching and vertical topic coherence.Secondly,adopting the theme framework and content analysis research methods,12 hotel groups were selected based on the sample typicality and report availability.On its official website,it collected 44 reports from 12 companies in the hotel industry involving 2013-2016,and then encoded the collected reports,including energy,carbon,water,garbage(waste),biodiversity(biodiversity),sustainable construction,sustainable procurement,and overall sustainability of the company's environment.A total of 8 primary codes and 22 secondary codes..The specific measures under each secondary coding are further classified into categories such as materials,processes,activities,cooperation,documentation,awareness training,incentives,certification,etc.,and finally form a 2*2 dimensional coding system.These codes are then digitized,the measures of each company under each theme are counted,and the frequency table is compiled to carry out subsequent analysis and research.Finally,through analysis,the research findings of this paper are as follows:(1)For the environmental protection responsibility of enterprises,there are obvious differences between hotel companies and manufacturing enterprises.Hotel companies' social responsibility practices in the environment have a high degree of matching with their core business,which is one of the obvious characteristics of hotel companies that are different from manufacturing companies.(2)Hotel CSR has a high degree of theme coherence in environmental practice.The environmental CSR activities of most hotel companies included in the sample have gradually got rid of the "one-time behavior" characteristics,and have shifted to a longer and more frequent direction,especially after CSR has risen to the company's strategic decision-making level.A trend is more clear.The behavior of hotel companies is becoming more and more long-term,and short-sighted behavior is gradually decreasing.(3)Proposed a CSR environmental practice model for hotel companies.All CSR environmental practices of hotel companies are carried out under government and legal regulations.For the hotel's "destiny community"-owners and employees,the hotel is constantly improving its "basic social responsibility"through environmental practices on material foundation and management capabilities.For the "community of interest" of the hotel,apart from the special government,there are public opinions about consumers,suppliers,local communities and society.According to the CSR environmental practice of hotel companies,they are divided into individuals and organizations,through awareness activities and organizations.Cooperation to achieve "sublimation-type corporate social responsibility."This research is conducive to deep the hotel companies' further understanding and deep understanding of CSR,which will further stimulate the mutual communication and mutual learning of corporate social responsibility among hotel companies,and promote the further improvement and long-term development of relevant measures of corporate social responsibility in the hotel industry.In addition,the hotel enterprise environmental protection system constructed in this paper helps to propose directions and feasible solutions for hotel companies in the practice of corporate social responsibility in environmental protection,and promotes the development of environmental protection practices;and the conclusions obtained by this research are not only for hotel companies.The follow-up development of social responsibility in the environment has certain guiding significance,and can be used as a reference for other industries to implement CSR,and promote further thinking of various industries in practicing CSR.
