Theme Extraction And Evolutionary Research Of Corporate Social Responsibility Report Based On LDA Model

The concept of corporate social responsibility has been a hot topic in the field of enterprise management since its introduction.As a social science research object,despite that the academia and the business community long-term intense debate,due to the ambiguity and complexity of corporate social responsibility,its boundaries has not yet a unified conclusion.Previous studies tried to summarize the elements and external manifestations of corporate social responsibility by means of induction and deduction.This kind of research method will form different theoretical models according to the difference of the prior judgment of the researcher.However,in the view of social construction theory,the concept and dimension of corporate social responsibility are not only the objective facts that exist,but the process of collective definition through practice in specific social context.Therefore,in view of the theme content and evolution trend of information disclosure of corporate social responsibility report in China,we carried out exploratory research and compare with traditional theory and international standard,and further grasped the dimension of corporate social responsibility with Chinese characteristics and find out mechanisms how it affects society,and promotes the improvement of the quality of corporate social responsibility disclosure in China,facilitate the image of Chinese enterprises and enhance the international competitive advantage,in summary,this study has important theoretical significance and practical value.Based on the reality of China's economic development and the theme of corporate social responsibility in China,this paper first reviews the existing corporate social responsibility theory model and related standard documents at home and abroad,and sums up the definition and dimension of corporate social responsibility.On the basis of this,we evaluated the applicability of the subject model in this study.The pre-experiment of small sample was used to determine the LDA model with the statistical analysis method.And then use the reptile technology to collect the corporate social responsibility reports published by China's listed companies from 2007 to 2014.The report text is sorted corpus by key technology such as industry classification,Chinese word segmentation and stop word filtering,then the theme dimension of corporate social responsibility is extracted,and the multidimensional analysis is carried out from the trend of industry and time dimension.The results show that the theme of corporate social responsibility of listed companies in China has a new dimension,but it is consistent with the requirements of corporate social responsibility theory and standard documents.China's corporate social responsibility activities also have a clear industry characteristics,and have been affectd by the national policy,hot spots.In the process of interacting with social rules,the enterprise has expanded the understanding of social responsibility,and the theme dimension of corporate social responsibility has become increasingly rich and trendy.The innovation of this research lies in the following two aspects:First,the perspective of innovation.From the dynamic perspective of social practice,the corporate social responsibility is regarded as the product of social construction.This paper analyzes the theme contained in the statement of corporate social responsibility report and studies the process of corporate social responsibility in the specific situation of our country.Second,the research method of innovation.We use the thematic model to analyze the corporate social responsibility report,which is based on content analysis,expert rating methods,and thematic models that car:n be used to extract deeper information and reduce the time and labor costs significantly compared to traditional research.lt's a successful application of text mining technology and management.
