| In China’s economic composition,state-owned enterprises are very important elements and play an important role in China’s economy.The rapid development of state-owned enterprises is the epitome of China’s rapid economic development.Diversification or specialization is becoming a topic that more and more state-owned enterprises need to choose.As the largest grain enterprise in China,COFCO Group mainly relies on the grain industry and faces the international and domestic markets.It vigorously develops trade on the basis of industry.Through continuous development,the combination of agricultural trade,Industrial Trade and technical trade has become comprehensive,multi-functional,industrialized and collectivized large international groups.With the continuous development of COFCO in recent years,great progress has been made in international operation,especially in several large-scale mergers and acquisitions since 2014,title status of COFCO as a world grain merchant has been constantly upgraded.This paper first expounds the research background,significance and methods of diversification strategy,and then expounds the literature and views of domestic and foreign economists on enterprise strategy.At the same time,it compares and analyses the current mainstream enterprise strategic planning methods.In the case part,it first introduces COFCO,then analyses the current process and methods of enterprise strategic planning of COFCO,sums up the shortcomings in the current process of strategic planning of COFCO,and then explores COFCO Development strategy with appropriate strategic analysis tools. |
