Study On The Impact Of APEC Trade Facilitation Level On China’s Equipment Manufacturing Export Trade

In order to promote the development of China’s equipment manufacturing industry,China has emphasized from " the 11th Five-Year Plan " that information technology and technological innovation should be used to promote the development of China’s equipment manufacturing industry.In”Made in China 2025 ",it is also emphasized that without a strong manufacturing industry,there will be no country’s strength.It is the key to build an internationally competitive manufacturing industry to enhance China’s overall national strength.In recent years,along with the start of the pattern of the "one belt and one way",many scholars have deeply studied the impact of "one belt and one road" on China’s trade,but have less research on the impact of APEC countries on China’s trade.Therefore,this paper will further study the influence of China’s equipment manufacturing export trade on the level of trade facilitation of APEC countries and regions.With the increase of trade exchanges and reduction on trade frictions,it has become the main topics of each country to increase reciprocity and mutual benefit,reduce trade costs,improve the level of trade facilitation and enhance bilateral trade volune.From the perspective of China,this paper explores the impact of APEC trade facilitation level on the export trade of China’s equipment manufacturing industry,and further analyses the theoretical and practical significance of APEC trade facilitation level to enhance China’s equipment manufactUring export.Based on the new trade theory,transaction cost theory and customs union theory,this paper uses the method of combining quantitative and qualitative analysis,uses classical gravity model to further explain the impacts of APEC countries and regions’trade facilitation level on China’s equipment manufacturing industry,and puts forward reasonable suggestions accordingly.This paper is mainly divided into six parts:The first part summarizes the research literature on the impact of trade facilitation level on China’s export trade,especially manufacturing industry,by studying the literature of trade facilitation academicians,and then explains the theoretical and practical significance of the impact of trade facilitation level on China’s export trade;The second part mainly analyses the influence of trade facilitation on export trade from the perspective of theoretical mechanism,that is,how the level of trade facilitation affects export trade from the perspective of theoretical and mathematical analysis.The third part mainly describes the analysis and research of China’s export trade status of APEC’s main countries and regions,including export scale,export region and export structure.The fourth part is mainly about the measurement and analysis of the impact of APEC trade facilitation level on the export trade of China’s equipment manufacturing industry.This part standardizes the measurement method of trade facilitation level,and then compares and evaluates the trade facilitation level of each country by principal component analysis.The fifth part empirically analyses the impact of APEC trade facilitation level on the export trade of China’s equipment manufacturing industry based on gravity model,and further illustrates the impact of APEC trade facilitation level on China’s equipment manufacturing industry as a whole and various sub-sectors through fixed effect,random effect and mixed effect.The sixth part is based on the conclusions drawn from the overall analysis and research of this paper,and further suggestions are put forward according to these conclusions.
