With the improvement of communication technologies,the popularity of intelligent terminals,and the development of the Internet,human society has entered an era of informationization and digitization.The openness,the speed,and the simplicity of data have achieved a qualitative leap in the development stage of human history.Data is high degree of openness,rapid liquidity,comprehensiveness,easy access and numerous sources,it also promotes people's broader economic activities and maintain and enhance the activity of social activities.Along with the expansion of economic and social activities,data is produced in all aspects of business activities,behaviors of people's production and life.China United Network Communications Group Co.,Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as"China Unicom"),as the industry leader,has unique advantages in data resources.Its competitive advantages are mainly embodied in:First,the number of users is large,the data categories are numerous,the data dimensions are diversified,and the advantages of the communication pipeline are significant.Second,the technology capability of big data is leading in China.,it has a large-scale"big data platform",and has excellent technology and rich experience in data security.Third,the company has reliable qualifications and high value of goodwill.In the era of digital economy,the development of the Internet of Things,industrial Internet,and artificial intelligence has brought many market opportunities for data business.How can ChinaUnicom use its own advantages to master and utilize "data"to serve the country,enterprises and individuals,realize the value of the data?It is a serious challenge and a rare opportunity.This paper takes ChinaUnicom data service as the research object.Under ChinaUnicom's existing"differentiated"competition strategy,the paper analyzes its operational status and the performance of data products and services.and verifies the rationality and effectiveness of the existing strategy,but there are still some problems in the process of strategy implementation.By using PEST analysis,five-force analysis model and SWOT analysis model,this paper analyzes the current internal and external environment of ChinaUnicom's data business,clarifies its competitive advantages,threats and opportunities,and proposes corresponding solutions to existing specific problems.I hope to contribute to the development strategy of ChinaUnicom's data business,and have reference value and significance for the development of data services of other operators in China.
