Research On The Status Measurement And The Impact Of Status For Service Industry From The Perspective Of Global Value Chain

With the promotion of economic globalization and trade liberalization,the global division of labor and cooperation have deepened,and the global value chain has gradually formed.In the process of participating in the international division of labor,China is mainly engaged in low value-added sectors such as raw material supply and product assembly.With the development of economy and society,the service industry in China,especially the productive service industry with high value added,high level,knowledge type and technical characteristics,provides another way for our country to participate in international division of labor and gain trade interests.The rapid development of service industry,speeding up the construction of a modern industrial system based on service economy,and making great efforts to increase the high-end production link in the global value chain,has become an important strategic measure to promote the economic transformation and upgrading of our country.On the theoretical level,the paper expounds the formation and development of global value chain theory as well as its upgrading path,and summarizes the theoretical factors affecting the rising status of the global value chain in the service industry.Then the global value chain index of service industry in the maj or countries of the world is measured,and the status of the global value chain and the development status of the global value chain in the main countries'service industry and its subdivision industries are compared and analyzed,and the development of the service industry in China is analyzed separately.At the empirical level,the paper examines the factors influencing the global value chain of service industries in the world's major countries.The results show that the amount of patent application,the openness of trade in service,the level of capital and the degree of economic freedom have a significant effect on the promotion of the division of labor in the global value chain of the service industry of a country.For developed countries,patent application,capital level and service trade openness have a higher influence on the promotion of service industry global value chain.For developing countries,patent application and economic freedom are significant to improve the service industry's global value chain status.For emerging economies,patent applications and capital levels play a positive role in enhancing the global value chain of service industries.To sum up,the improvement of innovation capability is of great importance to the rising of the global value chain.Finally,the paper summarizes the results of theoretical and empirical analysis,and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations based on the development of our country.
