Study On The Willingness To Adopt New Technology Of Farmers In Zhuji Chinese Torreya And Its Influencing Factors

The strategy of Rural Revitalization has become the fundamental goal and direction of our country’s rural economic development.Forestry is not only an important public utility of the country,but also an important basic industry of the national economy.It plays an irreplaceable role in the rural revitalization.As a pillar industry in Zhuji City,the development of Torreya grandis industry is not only closely related to the local regional economic development,but also related to the vital interests of farmers and local social stability in Zhuji City.Zhuji Municipal Government has issued "Opinions on Promoting the Inheritance and Development of Torreya Industry" and "Opinions on Continuing to Accelerate the Implementation of Torreya Industry Development" to support the development of Torreya industry.However,as a high-value agricultural product,Torreya grandis has the characteristics of high labor value cohesion and labor-intensive input and output.At present,with the large-scale transfer of labor force,rising labor prices and increasing planting costs,the traditional planting technology of Torreya grandis can no longer meet the needs of farmers in the process of agricultural modernization in China.However,limited by farmers’lack of knowledge and information asymmetry,the popularization and promotion of new technology of Torreya grandis has not been widely spread.Therefore,how to improve farmers’willingness to adopt new technologies has become a problem worthy of studyThis study takes Zhaojia Town and Dongbaihu Town in Zhuji as case points to conduct field investigation to understand the current status of Torreya industry development.Based on the survey data and relevant references,this paper studies the application of new technologies in farmers,focusing on the analysis of the main factors affecting farmers’Villingness to adopt new technologies.Accordingly,according to the actual situation and advantages of the industry,this paper puts forward some policy suggestions to improve the willingness to adopt new technology of Torreya grandis production,and makes beneficial exploration to improve the production efficiency of Torreya grandis in Zhuji,so as to promote the efficiency of Torreya grandis,the income of Torreya grandis farmers and the prosperity and development of Torreya grandis industry.The main research process is as follows:(1)Through on-the-spot investigation and analysis of second-hand data,it is found that the camphor industry has become one of the pillar industries of Zhuji’s agricultural economy.The income of Shannon has become the main source of income for local farmers and the proportion of income has increased year by year.However,through analysis,it is also found that there are still some problems in the production of Zhujixiang,such as farmers being severely constrained by funds,imperfect infrastructure,low policy support,lack of labor of farmers,and serious fragmentation of farmer households(2)Through the analysis of the existing technology of farmers,it is found that due to the lack of understanding of the effects of new technologies and the consideration of cost and technical requirements,most of the technologies used by Shannon farmers are traditional toon production techniques.In some aspects,several new techniques for camphor planting have also been used.The main application of more new technologies mainly exists in the stage of seedling grafting and flowering pollination.But these new technologies are only new relative to traditional technologies,and their technological content is not high(3)Through the research on the willingness of farmers to adopt new technologies,it is found that half of the farmers are willing to adopt the new technology of camphor cultivation.Farmers in Dongbaihu Town have higher willingness to use new technologies than Zhaojia Town,and different technical characteristics are adopted by farmers.Will has a clear impact.Through logit regression analysis on the willingness to adopt,it is found that the age of the head of the household,the education level of the head of the household,the proportion of the income of the camphor,the technical training of the camphor,the new technology used by the surrounding people,and the effective increase of the new technology have a significant positive effect on the adoption of new technologies by farmers.Impact,poor site quality and new technology increase production costs have a significant negative impact on farmers’ willingness to adopt new technologiesAccording to the above research,this paper proposes the following suggestions:(1)Increase capital subsidies and strengthen infrastructure construction;(2)Improve farmers’ cultural quality level and strengthen application technology guidance;(3)Broaden technical information channels and strengthen technical information publicity.
