Service quality and customer satisfaction are key focus areas for every business.Poor service delivery and unhappy customers can lead to the demise of a business.Service innovation has become a necessary choice for both the manufacturing and service industry and the reality of service innovation in the service industry has become increasingly important in today's business world.There is undoubtedly no other sector more service focused than the hospitality industry.Hotels especially are continuously looking for new ideas and ways to improve their services in order to ensure that guests return and that their revenues increase.Many hotels are looking towards increasing and strengthening their services by using new innovative service models to cement sustainable service delivery and to ensure that they have the upper hand over their competitors.Innovative service models are great tools that can help hotels increase their customer needs/awareness as well as assist them in expanding their services.It is not only important to create and implement new services but it is also imperative that the services provided are up to the standards of both standard hotel practices as well as fulfilling the service quality levels that all clients wish to receive.In order for any institution to adequately provide the services that will satisfy the needs of clients and at the same time evaluate its own growth and service providing abilities,hotels are continuously relooking at their standards and service level management and adapting accordingly.This thesis will investigate the service innovation model level of Northeastern University International Hotel(NEU International hotel),their innovation goals as well as the implementation thereof and the obstacles that might arise.It will also look at the importance of new service innovation in the hotel industry.
