Empirical Study On Information Ability,Environmental Attitude And Vegetable Farmers' "Two Reduction'' Behavior

Vegetable is the most important necessity in human life,which is of great significance to satisfy the needs of human body for a variety of nutrients and can protect human health.However,in some areas of our country,the excessive application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in vegetable production still exists,which seriously affects the quality of vegetables and the competitiveness of our vegetables in the international market,and has brought huge hidden danger to the sustainable development of industry and national health.It is imperative to cut down the chemical fertilizer and pesticides.Although the state advocates the implementation of "two reduction" in agriculture vigorously,farmers are the main participants of the implementation of " two reduction",and their participation is the key to the success or failure of "two reduction".Therefore,the study of "t two reduction" behavior of vegetable farmers is of great significance for promoting "two reduction",promoting the sustainable development of vegetable industry.Based on the model of "Environmental Knowledge—Environmental Attitude —Environmental Behavior" and the theory of farmers' behavior,this article cites perceived risk as a moderating variable,and uses 280 valid questionnaires collected in Hubei,Shanghai,Hebei,Gansu,Shandong and so on to research the mechanism of information ability,environmental attitude and perceived risk on vegetable farmers' "two reduction" behavior.The results show that:(1)Information ability and environmental attitude are positively correlated with vegetable farmers' "two reduction" behavior.Farmers' ability to access information and process information have a positive impact on the "two reduction" environmental protection behavior.When farmers' information ability is stronger,they are more inclined to adopt "two reduction" environmental protection behavior.The farmers' attitude to the environment becomes higher,it is easier to adopt "two reduction" environmental protection behavior.(2)The mediating effect of environmental attitudes on information ability and "two reduction" behavior.The result is shown that environmental attitudes not only have mediate effect between the ability to access information and "two reduction" behavior,but also between the ability to process information and "two subtraction" behavior.(3)The moderating effect of perceived risk on environmental attitudes and "two reduction" behavior is manifested in the negative moderating effect of perceived economic risk,perceived social risk and perceived psychological risk on environmental attitudes and "two reduction" behavior.According to the research conclusion,this study proposes that the information process ability of farmers can be improved by broadening the access of farmers to environmental protection information;enhance vegetable farmers' awareness of environmental protection by intensifying publicity efforts;taking effective measures to reduce economic risks,creating a good atmosphere;encouraging the adoption of new technologies,cultivating new agricultural operators,and strengthening agricultural related technology training to strengthen the adoption of household and other measures to promote vegetable farmers "two reduction" behavior.
