With the rapid development of China's economy,the production of engines and their components has become the most important component of the manufacturing industry.It provides power for machine manufacturing enterprises that produce automobile,motorcycle,aviation and so on.As a multi-dimensional analysis method that breaks the monotonicity of traditional financial analysis,harvard analysis framework analyzes the strategy,accounting policies and estimates,financial statements and prospects of enterprises comprehensively.As one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises,A listed company is highly representative of engine manufacturing industry among many independent private manufacturing brands in China.By selecting A listed company as A typical case,this paper applies this analysis method to the engine manufacturing industry from the perspective of enterprise managers.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background and current situation.The second part mainly describes the theoretical basis and methods of financial analysis.The third part mainly introduces the case company.The fourth part carries out harvard analysis on A listed company.Firstly,it conducts strategic analysis on A listed company's strategic evolution,macro environment,its own situation and industry form.Secondly,the accounting analysis,through the accounts receivable,inventory,loans and advances,fixed assets,we can evaluate the rationality and accuracy of accounting policies and estimates;Then on the basis of strategic analysis and accounting analysis,we can conduct horizontal and vertical financial analysis on comparison of various financial indicators such as operation management,investment risk and financing risk of A listed company,in order to ensure the representation of the reference value,and the full screen with A listed company with the range of cross ten typical manufacturing enterprise average for comparison reference;Finally,in the aspect of prospect analysis,the supply and demand relationship of A listed company related to the industry is analyzed.At the same time,combined with the current non-financial information disclosure status of the company,the industry competition development of the enterprise is further predicted.In this paper,through case analysis,it finds that A listed company uses "motorcycle and general engine as the core industry,covering air power,automobile and motorcycle parts and emerging areas such as new energy,based on the melting production networkintegration" strategic layout and long-term development plan to conduct diversified transformation,in response to A strategic environment changes,and at present,the company strategy transition of multiple core technology is lack of the ability of operation.The accounting policies and estimation choices of important subjects of A listed company are reasonable and can reflect the financial information of the company more accurately.In the decade after the financial crisis in 2008,the main traditional manufacturing industry policies of A listed company have changed,and the disclosure of social non-financial indicators has gradually become the mainstream.The company's asset management,capital structure and other relevant indicators have all declined significantly under the influence of the general environment,and the intensity of social responsibility disclosure and the lack of system construction are also evident.Through the analysis of the above cases,the problems are obtained,and more practical and reasonable suggestions are put forward for management decision-making and supervision.
