Research On The Relationship Between Consumption Upgrade And Industrial Transformation In Gansu Province

The current supply and demand structure and market situation in Gansu Province are undergoing new changes.The specific performance is: from the perspective of demand,the effect of consumption on the stable growth of the economy continues to increase,especially the continuous acceleration of consumption upgrading and the continuous gestation and growth of new consumption,which has played a very significant positive role in promoting stable economic growth;In view of the fact,the phenomenon of low-level products and industrial surplus has not yet undergone a fundamental change.The effective supply of high-quality,healthy and green products is insufficient.The residents of the province go to other provinces and even go abroad to have strong consumer demand.How to resolve the coexistence of “excess economy” and “consumption spillover” caused by the uncoordinated supply and demand in Gansu Province? How to further highlight the positive effects of consumption on stable economic growth? Give play to the leading role of the people's consumption upgrade in the province,further release the new potential of consumption,and actively promote the supply-side reform,accelerate the transformation and upgrading of the industry,realize the positive interaction between the consumption upgrade of Gansu Province and the industrial transformation and upgrading,and become the current national economic development of Gansu Province Urgent task.This paper takes Gansu Province as the research object,and systematically interprets the interaction mechanism between Gansu Province's residents' consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading.Firstly,it makes a statistical description of the current situation of Gansu's residents' consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading,and then chooses.The VAR model empirically tests the interaction between consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading.The study finds that there is a long-term co-integration relationship between consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading in Gansu Province,and consumption upgrading is the Granger cause of industrial structure upgrading.The Granger reason for the consumption upgrade.Finally,through the variance decomposition,the interdependence of consumption upgrading and industrial structure upgrading in Gansu Province is obtained.Although both of them have strong dependence,the contribution of consumption upgrading to industrial structure upgrading is greater than the contribution of industrial structure upgrading to consumption upgrading.Degree,based on the above research conclusions,put forward corresponding policy recommendations.
