After the reform and opening up 40 long-term development,Comrade Deng Xiaoping's idea that the richest people to promote the development of the post-rich is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Now the prelude of the “first rich” with the “first rich to lead the rich” has already played, how to promote the backward areas to achieve “post-rich” Until the common prosperity has become one of the themes of China's current economic development. As a typical poverty-stricken area in China, the northwest region is particularly eager to pursue economic progress and regional coordinated development. The report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly pointed out that it is necessary to "implement a regional coordinated development strategy." Therefore, the issue of economic development and coordination strategies in the northwest is worthy of attention and needs to be resolved. This paper adopts the prefecture-level panel data of Northwest China from 1999 to 2016,and uses the methods of benchmark analysis,Theil index analysis,ESDA analysis, spatial Markov model and spatial measurement model to obtain the economic development status, economic development difference and economy from the Northwest. The spatial and temporal evolution of the pattern, the impact mechanism of economic development, and the boundary effect of spatial spillovers have been studied accordingly, and some valuable research conclusions have been obtained:The economic development in the northwest has typical characteristics of capital dependence. The internal differences in economic development are constantly expanding, and the gap between the country and the country is gradually decreasing. It is in the development stage of “internal difference expansion and external difference reduction”.It has strong spatial positive correlation characteristics, and the economic pattern is characterized by stable "high dumbbells" with high ends and low middle. The current economic type has a strong time stickiness to the next economic type, and there is no cross-level transfer. The regional economic development gradually appears the “Matthew effect” phenomenon;the influence of different neighborhood backgrounds on the local economic type change and the impact intensity difference Large,low-level neighborhoods increase the downward pressure on the local economy,high-level neighborhoods enhance the upward momentum of the local economy, the greater the gap between local and neighboring economic types, the higher the local economic type is affected by the neighborhood;the economic type transitions around the provincial capital In urban agglomeration, the frequency of the same direction of local and neighboring economic types is higher than that of the anisotropic transfer. The economic transfer type is more upward than the downward transfer area, and the core growth pole has a significant effect on the overall regional economy.Market potential development significantly promotes economic growth in the northwest, technological innovation has the greatest economic elasticity, and industrial structure services inhibit economic growth, showing the characteristics of “Baumore cost disease”;the geographical critical point of economic spillover is 1000 km,and there is significant direct The spatial spillover effect, the external region spreads the indirect spillover effect in the form of spatial error;the regional economic level difference between 40-55 billion yuan will give full play to the spatial direct spillover effect advantage, and the direct spillover effect in the local area outside the interval will be weakened to some extent. The indirect spillover effect brought by the spatial error impact does not have obvious law of economic grade variation.
