With the globalization of the world economy,international trade has become the main driving force for the economic development of all countries.Among them,with the progress of science and technology and the deepening of merchandise trade and trade in services,trade of knowledgeintensive service with knowledge and technology as the core gradually occupies an increasingly important position in international trade,it has also become the focus of future international trade development.As for China,since the reform and opening up,although China’s merchandise trade has developed rapidly and has certain competitive advantages,at the same time,the development of knowledge-based service trade is relatively lagging behind,with a small total size,unreasonable trade structure and long-term trade deficit.Therefore,the lag of the development of trade of knowledge-intensive service in China has caused the imbalance of the development of China’s international trade structure,and has become an obstacle to the further development of China’s economy.In the face of this situation,studying the interactive relationship between merchandise trade and trade of knowledge-intensive service to finding the path for the coordinated development of merchandise trade and trade of knowledge-intensive service are conducive to promoting the transformation and upgrading of China’s industrial structure and the transformation of economic growth mode,and promoting the high-quality development of China’s economy.The main content of this paper is as follows:Firstly,this paper summarizes the literature on the relationship of total between service trade and goods trade,the structure relationship between service trade and goods trade,and the research of trade of knowledge-intensive service in order to indicate the research emphasis of this paper.Secondly,it introduces the concept of knowledge-based service trade and the current classification methods,and analyze the applicability of global value chain theory and product life cycle theory to the interaction between knowledge-based trade in services and trade in goods,then explain the induced mechanism and the demand mechanism from merchandise trade to trade of knowledgeintensive service,the supporting mechanism,the cost reduction mechanism and the competitiveness improvement mechanism from trade of knowledge-intensive service to merchandise trade.Then,the paper analyzes the development status of trade of knowledge-intensive service and merchandise trade of china,and draws the conclusion that the merchandise trade of china is in a good state of development,the product structure is constantly optimized,and the trade of knowledge-intensive service of china is developing at a slow speed,with a small scale and an unreasonable product structure.Moreover,empirically analyze the relationship between trade of knowledge-intensive service and merchandise trade from the perspective of total volume and internal structure.VAR model is used to empirically analyze the relationship between merchandise trade and trade of knowledge-intensive service of total,the relationship between the commodity structure of merchandise trade and trade of knowledge-intensive service,and the relationship between the commodity structure of trade of knowledge-intensive service and merchandise trade.Finally,The article get the main conclusion that merchandise trade of china has a significant role in promoting the trade of knowledge-intensive service,but the trade of knowledge-intensive service of china does not have a significant role in promoting merchandise trade,and puts forward relevant feasible Suggestions,according to the current situation of China’s merchandise trade and trade of knowledge-intensive service...
