Nowadays,with the rapid of economic development,team performance has become an important indicator of making an enterprise survive.Therefore,improving team performance has gradually become a major issue of enterprises development.Many researches believed that the leadership management mode played a key role in the team performance.The leader rapport management could creat a higher atmosphere of procedure justice,which improve the level of relationships between superiors and subordinates and make the communication smooth.The leader rapport management had an important impact in the leader-member exchange and procedure justice climate,thus it would inevitably affect the team's performance.Therefore,researchers began to focus on the influence of leader rapport management on team performance.Therefore,researchers paid attention to the leader rapport management influences on team performance gradually.However,there are partial defects in the existing literature,most of which merely focus on the factors affecting every individual employees,while ignoring the influences on the team level.Furthermore,most researches were on the stage of theoretical exploration in terms of the influences of the organizational level on team performance,while there is still a lack of empirical tests.But in the real world,as the corporate teams have different leaders,their leader rapport management were also different.However,when examining the variables affecting team performance,researchers should consider both the individual and the team levels,processing the collected data with nesting to demonstrate a cross-level research.For this purpose,this research examined whether leader rapport management affected team performance through procedure justice climate and leader-member exchange,providing certain references for the upgrading of team performance.The leader rapport management scale,leader-member exchange scale,procedure justice climate scale and team performance scale were adopted to conduct a survey on 235 corporate employees from 32 teams.The independent sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were used to examine the differences of the four variables in demographic analysis.Pearson correlation analyzed the correlation among the four variables.The multi-level linear model was set up to test the affecting mechanism of leader rapport management on team performance,and further studying on the chained multi-level mediating effect played by procedure justice climate scale and leader-member exchange.The results of this study showed that:(1)Procedure justice climate,leader-member exchange and team performance have significant differences in the gender of employees.Leader-member exchange has significant difference in the age of employees.Leader-member exchange and team performance have significant differences in the education level of employees and the length of time employees join the company(2)Procedure justice climate mediated the effect of leader rapport management on team performance.(3)Leader-member exchange mediated the effect of procedure justice climate on team performance.(4)Leader-member exchange and procedure justice climate played a chained mediating effect between leader rapport management and team performance.
