In order to promote regional coordinated development and narrow the economic differences between other economic sectors and the eastern region, the state has successively issued the strategy of "developing the western region","revitalizing the old industrial bases in the northeast" and "rising the central region".So far,the "Rise of Central China" strategy has been implemented for more than ten years.Whether the implementation of this strategy promotes the rise of the central region and how much the strategy has played a role is still unknown. Therefore,a system for the strategy will be carried out in the decade.Evaluation, analysis of the problems of the strategy is necessary. On the one hand,it can point the way to the next decade of strategy implementation, and on the other hand,it can provide theoretical significance for the effectiveness of the "space intervention" regional policy.Based on the theory of regional non-equilibrium development theory, this paper analyzes the implementation of strategy.First, review the policies issued by the state since the implementation of the strategy, and classify and analyze them. Then, conduct a preliminary analysis of GDP and household income, and find that after the implementation of the "Rise of Central China" strategy both the GDP and the income of the residents, the central region has Great improvement and growth rate is higher than other regions. Then, using the panel data of 237 prefecture-level cities in China to construct the PSM-DID model, the policy effect is analyzed. The empirical results show that the implementation of the strategy has increased the growth rate of per capita GDP in the central region by 2.67%.In the medium and long term, the policy The promotion has undergone a process of first reducing and then enhancing; In addition, this paper analyzes the impact of the "Rise of Central China" strategy on cities of different scales for the first time, and finds that the promotion of small and medium-sized cities is stronger than that of big cities. Finally, through the analysis of the policy implementation process, this paper finds that the central rise strategy still faces three problems in the implementation process. The first is that the state's support is small;the third development model is not clear;the third is the intense competition in the central region. There is no effective cooperation;and reasonable policy recommendations are made for the problems found.
