Research On The Development Of Health-preserving Tourism In Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province

With the advent of mass tourism era and the increasingly serious problems of aging,sub-health and environmental pollution in recent years,wellness tourism has been becoming a hot spot in China's tourism market.Simao,the center of Pu'er city,with a superior ecological environment and a pleasant climate,is one of the most suitable places for human beings to live.Wellness tourism is the very choice for Simao.However,according to the current situation,the wellness tourism in Simao is just in its start-up stage.Obviously there remain many problems,including the incomplete tourism infrastructure,the insufficient tourism products and the lack of professional talents.Thus there is a long way to build Simao a national wellness tourism destination.Based on the analysis of the unique health-preserving tourism resources and its current situation of development in Simao,this paper borrows experience form home and abroad and combines the market demands with the characteristics of local health-preserving resources,thus identifying the Pearl River Delta,the Southwesl Region,the Yangtze River Delta as well as the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region as the domestic target tournst markets.The tourism products are designed as four formats referring the mountains,Pu'er tea,medicinal diet and residential,and various marketing channels and methods are advised to establish the tourism image of Simao.
