Study The Investment Effect Of Urban Public Infrastructure In Gansu Province

The accelerating process of urbanization and the increase of urban population have brought many problems to the development of cities,including water pollution,road congestion and environmental degradation.These problems have seriously restricted the development of the city.Urban public infrastructure plays an important role in safeguarding the sustainable development of cities,but it has become an inevitable choice to improve the efficiency of infrastructure investment when the government's financial resources are scarce and the amount of infrastructure supply is limited.Therefore,the main purpose of this study is to promote the development of cities,improve the efficiency of urban public infrastructure investment,improve the investment structure and reduce duplication of construction.The main research contents of this paper are summarized as follows:Firstly,Introducing the background of urban infrastructure investment,the significance of urban infrastructure investment,at the same time,combing and commenting on the relevant domestic and foreign literature,secondly expounding the concept and characteristics of urban public infrastructure investment and the necessity of urban public infrastructure investment,pointing out the theoretical basis of infrastructure,thirdly analyzing the present situation of public infrastructure investment in Gansu Province from the aspect of absolutescale and relative scale,and expounding the status quo of water supply,gas,sewage treatment penetration rate and greening coverage in built-up area in Gansu province.The results of the analysis show that the level of infrastructure investment in Gansu province is low,the penetration rate does not reach the national average;In order to analyze the investment efficiency of public infrastructure in Gansu Province quantitatively,this paper selects the representative index,designs the evaluation effect system,uses the DEA model to carry on the empirical analysis,The results show that in terms of direct efficiency,Baiyin and Jiayuguan are the highest,while the remaining urban efficiency values are lower.Jinchang and Baiyin are the highest in the degree of association and indirect effects on society.When the effect value of all cities in the province is integrated,it has a great space for progress.Finally,according to the empirical results,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the effect of infrastructure investment in Gansu Province from the aspects of the structural reform of investment and the operation and management of funds.
