The early goal orientation theory did not pay too much attention to the influence of environmental conditions in the research process,resulting in defects in the results of goal orientation antecedent research.Workplace bullying has become an increasingly serious and noteworthy form of workplace violence since it occurred frequently in the workplace in the mid-1980s.Under the influence of the power orientation values peculiar to the Confucian culture of the mean,Chinese employees are more inclined to regard their experience as universal and normalized.Systematic studies of workplace bullying began in Scandinavia in the 1990s,but since then they have accumulated rich theoretical and practical achievements.As an extreme workplace stressor,workplace bullying has been proven to be strongly associated with low employee performance.However,this externalized low performance is related to individuals’ choice of intrinsic goal orientation in the context of workplace bullying is not discussed.Workplace bullying is a form of unfair interaction,but few literature focus on the goal orientation.To test the model data were collected from 340 members within 32 organizations.Workplace bullying is discussed influence on employee goal orientation,as well as the perceived insider status and resilience.The empirical findings of this paper are as follows:(1)workplace bullying is negatively predicts learning goal orientation and performance approach goal orientation,positively predicts performance avoidance goal orientation;(2)perceived insider status positively predicts learning goal orientation and performance approach goal orientation,negatively predicts performance avoidance goal-orientation,and partially mediates between workplace bullying and goal orientation;(3)resilience not only negatively regulates the relationship between workplace bullying and perceived insider status;(4)resilience further moderates the indirect effects of workplace bullying on goal orientation through perceived insider status.Research results help to understand the formation mechanism of goal orientation,to improve management practice provides enlightenment to the workplace bullying reflects exists in the organization of an unfair situation interaction forms,encounter bullying in the workplace employees due to hostile rhetoric of social exclusion and repression,damage the job resources perception and reduce the organization to participate in the social information processing theory,on the basis of theoretical framework,this study explores the workplace bullying to employees choose goal orientation mechanism,and the related research hypothesis has carried on the empirical test,the results generally conform to the theoretical expectations.Based on the conclusion in the end,this article puts forward practical significance,the purpose is to emphasize the organization as a group of high-level construction attention regulation,strengthen the personnel mechanism,improve the employee’s working feeling of competence and sense of worth,build high participation of organizational culture and enhance employees’ psychological adaptability and coping skills,promote the common development of employees and enterprises.
