As the insurance industry enters the stage of "commercial vehicle fee reform" from "reimbursement second generation" and property insurance industry,the competition among insurance enterprises becomes more and more fierce.In order to seek the firm and development of enterprises,most insurance companies upgrade their internal management through internal innovation,and strengthen their internal power by looking for new opportunities,so as to conform to the market to form core competitiveness and cater to the new market.To meet the changing social insurance needs.Performance management is an important part of internal management.Strengthening performance management is an important measure to promote the rapid development of insurance enterprises,and it is also an internal driving force to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises and promote the sustainable development of insurance enterprises.A Insurance Company is a large state-owned property insurance company.In recent years,the problem of performance management has become increasingly prominent.Its management efficiency is not high and effective management and control means are not enough to meet the overall development requirements of the company.This research takes A insurance company as the research object,based on performance management and related theories,starting from the analysis of the current situation of performance management of employees in compensation Department of A insurance company,through questionnaire and in-depth on-site interviews,finds out the problems existing in performance management,including imperfect planning,unclear management objectives,unreasonable design of assessment scheme,performance management.Such problems as poor communication effect and inability to fully play the role of performance appraisal,etc.The causes of these problems are the insufficient understanding of performance management by managers,the relatively weak foundation of enterprise performance management,and the fact that performance management attaches importance to process and ignores results.On this basis,this paper puts forward the improvement ideas,principles and concrete suggestions of A insurance company’s performance management.It is hoped that by improving the management problems existing in the performance appraisal of the claim settling department,it can provide useful reference for improving the performance appraisal quality and level of the claim settling personnel.
