According to the data released in the 13th Five-Year Plan for Tourism Industry, tourism has been fully integrated into the national strategic system, and become the pillar industry and one of the important impetuses in the development of national economy. With the unceasing improvement of tourism, the agglomeration of tourism industry has become more and more obvious, which has promoted the rapid development of tourism economy. Therefore, regional tourism economic growth and regional tourism industry agglomeration are the inseparable aspects that depend on and promote each other. However, the existing studies mainly focus on the inter-provincial differences of tourism economy from a macro perspective, while few of them pay attention to the spatial pattern among cities in a particular region. In order to further explore the agglomeration degree of regional tourism industry and understand the relationship between regional tourism industry agglomeration and tourism economic growth, this paper takes the Yangtze River Delta with more developed domestic tourism and higher degree of agglomeration as the subject. In this paper, first of all,the relevant concepts are identified by sorting out the documents on tourism industry agglomeration and tourism economic growth;secondly, the agglomeration degree of tourism in 26 cities of the Yangtze River Delta is calculated using the location entropy index;ultimately, the spatial econometric model incorporating geographical factors is applied to the quantitative analysis of the relationship between tourism industry agglomeration and tourism economic growth.Following the above steps, relationship between tourism agglomeration and tourism economic growth in given regions is studied. The results indicate that, the tourism industry of cities in the Yangtze River Delta features a certain degree of agglomeration, and its Gini coefficient and location entropy show a relatively higher level of agglomeration. The overall spatial correlation test reveals that the tourism economic growth of cities in the Yangtze River Delta is positively correlated, indicating that the tourism economic growth of cities in this region affects each other, and there is an overflow effect between adjacent cities.Local spatial self-test shows that there is a high spatial correlation in 2017,and no matter the scale and the speed, the tourism industry in eastern part of the Yangtze River Delta develops much faster than that in other parts.Spatial econometric model is used to find out that, the tourism economic growth in 2017 and the agglomeration degrees of scenic spots above 4A level, travel agencies, hotel above 4-star level, tourism traffic,as well as staff in lodging and catering industries have significant positive correlation.Among which, tourism transportation is the most important for the tourism economic growth of the Yangtze River Delta. Finally, this paper puts forward corresponding suggestions to promote the tourism industry agglomeration in the Yangtze River Delta and its regional tourism economic growth. In this paper,From the Perspective of Spatial Econometrics,Constructing Spatial Econometric Model for Analysis,I can not only innovatively reveal the differences of regional tourism development in the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration and analyze the main factors and formation mechanism that affect the development of tourism economy in the Yangtze River Delta region, but also provide theoretical basis for promoting the sustainable, rapid and stable development of tourism economy in the Yangtze River Delta region, and further enrich the theoretical system of tourism spatial structure. |
