Research On China's Trade Interests In The Background Of Global Value Chain

Under the background of division of labor,in the Global Value Chain production products no longer done by one country alone,but by many countries working together to complete the whole process of production,and the situation directly led"Trade in Goods"gradually to evolving into"Trade in Tasks".For every country,with their own advantages in resources and comparison,it becomes less convinced that using traditional trade statistics which is on the basis of cross-border statistics to reflect the trade size and trade interests of each country.This is obviously more profound for developing countries like China.It is known to all that China participates in the global division of production mainly in the form of processing trade,but the traditional trade statistics cover the whole value of finished goods of China's total exports,which does not eliminate the intermediate product such as raw materials and parts imported from abroad,which will cause that China's total exports are far more than the actual trade gains.For example,China assembles Iphones with imported parts,and then assembles into finished products to export.The whole value of Iphones are all counted in the our country's export volume,but in fact,China is only involved in processing and assembling,and the low added value of production only brings 2%of its revenue to our exporting Iphones,which means all the remaining 98%of the revenue are transformed into the foreign added value in the form of imported components.Obviously,it is more scientific to find out the real domestic added value,and make it as a standard of measuring a country's interests in trade,especially for the countries mainly depending on the processing trade like China,which will have more realistic significance.Therefore,the added trade statistics method,based on input-output table data,excludes the added value in total export of foreign countries by decomposing the source of the export value,and only counts the domestic added-value parts,so as to solve the problems caused by the methods of traditional trade statistics such as counting the intermediate products twice,which will realistically reflects the international trade.Since that,the paper adopts the world and social economic account of WIOD input-output table,on the basis of the method of added-value trade statistics,uses factor-decomposition framework of the added value,decomposes the production factors of domestic added value from the perspective of elements,works out the trade interests created by the elements of capital and labor in export data,and analyses the actual elements of the export in China.It helps us more profoundly understand the comparative advantage and the role of China's production in the global division,as well as makes out that China has really been on the stage of"made in China"to"created in China".Then on the basis of calculation results,with regarding capital and labor export trade interests as the explained variable,the paper uses econometric empirical model to analyse the influence factors,studies the factors in affecting China's export trade interests and puts forward feasible policy suggestions.
