With the acceleration of economic globalization,China's financial market is becoming more and more mature.In 2018,uncertain international factors such as Fed interest rate hike,Sino-US trade war and geopolitics increased the probability of risk occurrence in the global financial market.Futures market,as the main trading market to avoid risk,is popular with investors all over the world.With the increasing participation of futures market participants and diversified investment demand,the existing futures market varieties can not fully meet the needs of market traders.Speeding up the development of futures market varieties is the key to further improve the development of futures market in China.As the world's most populous country,China's agricultural resources endowment is not dominant,and the fluctuation of agricultural prices has a significant impact on China's agricultural development.Chili pepper is popular with consumers because of its unique hot taste and poor substitutability.It is the main foreign exchange earning agricultural product in China.The scale of chili pepper industry is expanding day by day.In recent years,the fluctuation of pepper prices has increased,which has led to the increase of production and operation risks and risk management needs of upstream and downstream enterprises in the pepper enterprise chain.Dry pepper futures may satisfy the hedging,arbitrage and speculative demand of trading entities,and then stabilize spot prices,which is conducive to the realization of enterprise risk management needs,and promote the healthy development of the pepper industry.Based on the current situation of hot pepper spot market and the experience of futures product design,this paper designs hot pepper futures.Firstly,starting from the current situation of hot pepper spot market,the feasibility of hot pepper futures product design is analyzed in order to achieve the design goal of hot pepper futures products;on this basis,the hot pepper futures trading contract is designed from the aspects of the subject matter,trading unit,minimum fluctuating price and futures contract month;then,the spot price is used to push forward the futures price.Finally,from the perspective of pepper planting industry and processing industry,the dissemination object of pepper futures is analyzed,and then the dissemination strategy of pepper futures is put forward to provide support for the later listing of pepper futures products.
