As a kind of universal organizational form,family business plays an irreplaceable role in China's current economic development.In the past 40 years since the reform and opening up,family businesses have also faced a series of development problems while growing continuously.From the perspective of the life cycle of enterprises,family enterprises inevitably undergo the process of continuous inheritance.How to cross the threshold of “no more than three generations of wealth” is a problem that family business owners who are at the peak of “inheritance” have to consider.The research object of this paper is the intergenerational inheritance and sustainable development of LS Group.Firstly,on the basis of elaborating the research status of intergenerational inheritance of family businesses at home and abroad,the definition and characteristics of family business are interpreted.Secondly,this paper analyzes the connotation,mode influencing factors and timing of intergenerational inheritance,and lays a solid theoretical foundation for intergenerational transmission of family enterprises from the life cycle theory,entrepreneur theory,property rights theory,principal-agent theory,resource basic theory and stakeholder theory.Thirdly,by discussing the experience and inspiration of intergenerational transmission of foreign family businesses and analyzing the intergenerational transmission of Chinese family businesses,abundant theoretical data and research reference have been obtained for the intergenerational transmission research of LS group.Lastly,the general situation and inheritance background of LS Group are analyzed.The inheritance background of LS group is analyzed from an all-around and multiple perspective,including the group positioning and strategy,the basic situation of entrepreneur,successor and professional manager,as well as the internal and external environment of intergenerational inheritance of LS group.On this basis,this paper proposes the mode selection and inheritance plan of LS Group's intergenerational transmission.In terms of mode selection,we should choose the development mode of "inheriting the father's career" and the inheritance mode of external managers.In the inheritance plan,it is necessary to formulate a clear "3W-H" inheritance plan,improve the training and evaluation of successors,and improve the professional manager system.In the LS Group's intergenerational inheritance of sustainable development safeguards,do a good job in talent reserve,attach importance to power distribution,strengthen risk identification and control,establish an exit mechanism for incumbents and other family members,inheritand reshape corporate culture,and improve the group's modern enterprise system;Finally,draw the conclusions and outlook of this paper.
