Research On The Risks And Countermeasures Of Chinese Enterprises' Investment In Russia Under The Belt And Road Initiative

Russia is the country with the largest territory in the world,and its vast territory makes Russia rich in stone.Oil and gas resources,and strong military power,are a few countries with nuclear weapons,but the economy is not very developed.China and Russia have more than 4,300 kilometers of borders.Because of the border between the two countries,they have provided excellent advantages for economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.Since the end of the 20th century,the political,economic,and cultural relations between China and Russia have become closer and the exchanges have become more frequent.As a key direction in economic interaction,China's investment cooperation with Russia is particularly important.Taking advantage of the�Belt and Road�initiative to accelerate China's investment in Russia and improve its investment mechanism will not only provide new opportunities for the economic development of the two countries,but also broaden the path for future world economic and regional economic development.This paper first analyzes the overall status of China's investment in Russia.At this stage,the scale of Chinese enterprises investing in Russia is relatively small,the investment industry is relatively single,and the investment efficiency of Chinese enterprises in Russia is not satisfactory.Then this paper uses PEST analysis method to scientifically analyze the political environment,economic environment,social environment and technical environment of Chinese investment in Russia.In the current�One Belt,One Road�initiative promoted by China,Russia is the most important partner country in terms of political status,economic structure and geographical factors.With the gradual advancement of the "Belt and Road Initiative",Chinese investors'investment in Russia will further increase.However,Russia's investment environment is not perfect,investment laws and regulations are numerous and unstable,and its high concern for strategic industries and national security,Chinese investors may face various risks in investing in Russia.The risks that an investment may face are roughly divided into political risk,sovereign risk,social risk,legal risk and cultural risk.Based on the current problems in China's investment in Russia,the paper puts forward the risk prevention measures for Chinese enterprises to invest in Russia in the context of the�Belt and Road�.
