Nowadays,with the progress of world economic and regional integration,economic and trade exchanges between countries and regions are becoming more frequent,and the scale of China's dairy trade is also expanding.China has developed into one of the major countries in the world in the production,consumption and trade of dairy products.However,the current development situation of China in the field of dairy products trade is still far from the developed countries.With the acceleration of the process of trade liberalization,the competition for the share of dairy products in various countries has become increasingly fierce.In short,China's dairy trade will face more complicated and fierce international competition.In view of this situation,this paper chooses to study the international competitiveness of China's dairy trade,find the key factors affecting international competitiveness,and provide strategic choices for China's dairy trade to enhance competitiveness.The whole analysis of this paper is based on comparative advantage theory,factor endowment theory,competitive advantage theory,statistical theory and method.The paper combines theory and practice,qualitative and quantitative research methods to develop the international competitiveness of China's dairy products trade.With the help of Porter theory,establish an indicator system for the factors affecting the international competitiveness of China's dairy products trade.Referring to the previous scholars' analysis methods of international competitiveness research,the measurement model evaluation method was selected to establish a multiple linear regression model of the factors affecting the international competitiveness of China's dairy trade,and the correlation and influence degree of the indicators were analyzed.The data in this paper are selected from official sources such as the United Nations Commodity Trade Database,the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations,the National Bureau of Statistics,the China Dairy Yearbook,the annual report of dairy companies.The article is divided into seven parts.The first part is the introduction,which is mainly the introduction of the research background and meaning.It systematically reviews the scholars' research on this topic from three aspects;the second part is the related concepts and basic theories.Firstly,it introduces the dairy trade and international competitiveness.Secondly,it uses the theory of comparative advantage,factorendowment theory and competitive advantage theory to expound the theoretical basis of the international competitiveness research of dairy products.The third part focuses on the analysis of the current situation of China's dairy trade and its international competitiveness.The characteristics show that the export market of China's dairy products is geographically concentrated,the export scale of China's dairy products trade is growing slowly,and the export structure of China's dairy products is single.The fourth part studies the indicators of the factors affecting the international competitiveness of China's dairy products trade,which is measured and compared with the developed countries of dairy products.The TC index is hovering around negative one,which means China is a net importer of dairy products.The RCA index is characterized by volatility,indicating that China's dairy products have a large room for improvement.The Chinese dairy MS index is less than 1% except for 2008,reflecting that it does not have a comparative advantage in dairy exports.The CA index has been less than zero since 2008,indicating that the Chinese dairy industry has been in a relatively inferior position.The fifth part uses Porter's competitive advantage theory to further qualitatively analyze several key influencing factors of the international competitiveness of China's dairy trade:Factor endowment,demand status,related and supporting industries,horizontal competition and strategic layout,opportunities and government influences;Section six:Using Eviews statistical analysis,to verify the correlation between the influencing factors of qualitative analysis and the international competitiveness of China's dairy trade.This part also measures the influencing degree of each factors analyzed;Finally the paper proposes relevant strategies to enhance the international competitiveness of China's dairy trade based on the previous analysis: Establish a high-quality talent training mechanism for the dairy industry,differentiate the various consumer groups at home and abroad,comprehensively optimize the dairy product chain structure,make full use of the development opportunities of the Belt and Road,and actively respond to the open trade environment.
