As the focus of global economic development continues to favor the tertiary industry, service trade has become an important part of the global market competition. As the first country to enter the service economy, the overall level of Americanservice trade is far stronger than China, with reference to the successful experience of the United States in the development of service trade. It has great reference significance for the development of China’s service trade.India is a big developing country like China, but India’s service trade competitiveness is stronger than that of China. If we can learn from the development experience of India’s service trade,it will have a great effect on the improvement of China’s service trade competitiveness. This paper compare the status of Chinese service trade with India and the United States at the same time,to find out the gap between China’s service trade with the United States and India and analyze the reasons. The basic ideas of the article are as follows:First,it briefly expounds the background and research significance of this paper, introduces the research status of domestic and international service trade competitiveness.Secondly, comparing specific industries in China, the United States and India,it is found that American trade in services is far superior to China and India, while Chinese total import and export of service trade Exceeding India, but India’s trade in services is in a trade surplus and its export structure is superior to China.Thirdly, using the four indicators of MS,RCA,TC and L to specifically measure and compare the international competitiveness of China, the United States and India in service trade,it is found that the American indicators are significantly better than China and India, indicating the service trade competitiveness of the United States is far stronger than that of China and India. In addition to the MS index being larger than India,Chinese other indicators are lower than India, indicating that Chinese service trade is only greater than India but less competitive than India.Fourthly, outlines the theoretical basis of diamond model and its impact on the competitiveness of service trade.Fifthly, based on the diamond model, from the perspective of the country as a whole and the specific industry, the different explanatory variables and explanatory variables are selected to establish regression equations, and the main factors affecting the international competitiveness of China’s service trade are empirically analyzed. It is found that the per capita GDP and trade of goods have the most obvious impact on the competitiveness of China’s overall service trade, while the labor force, money supply and R&D expenditure are respectively generated for China’s laborintensive service sector,capital-intensive service sector and technology-intensive service sector a significant positive impact. Finally, make constructive suggestions for improving the international competitiveness of China’s service trade from the aspects of strengthening personnel training, accelerating the process of urbanization, exerting the driving role of goods trade, expanding the openness of service trade, introducing foreign investment, optimizing the internal structure of service industry and strengthening the role of government regulation.
