Study On The Development Of Characteristic Towns In Puyang City

With the acceleration of China's urbanization process,some problems arise,such as the improvement of urbanization level,the gap between urban and rural areas,the poor level of infrastructure construction,and the adjustment and upgrading of industrial structure.One of the effective ways to solve these problems is to develop characteristic town.The development of characteristic towns has promoted the process of China's modernization.People's demand for life comfort is getting higher and higher,and the single development model has been unable to meet the needs.It is imperative to build characteristic town with leisure and entertainment,rich culture and ecological environment.In the 2017 government report,it is proposed to strengthen the cultivation of characteristic towns and create a number of distinctive towns with distinctive characteristics.In response to the national call,Puyang City vigorously promoted the construction of characteristic towns and explored the influencing factors of the development of characteristic towns.It has practical significance for the healthy and sustainable development of characteristic towns in Puyang City.Based on the theory of sustainable development,rural complex,and urban complex,this paper takes the northeastern acrobatic town of Puyang City as an example to analyze the development status and problems of the characteristic towns in Puyang City,The study finds that the scope of towns are too small,the sustainable development needs are improved,the regional coordination development is poor,and the infrastructure construction is imperfect.On the development problems of Characteristic Towns in Puyang City,based on learning from the development experience of domestic and foreign Characteristic Towns,the following suggestions are put forward: First,a new idea is proposed,and the characteristic“small” town should go to the characteristic “middle” town;The second is to propose a new development model,build a characteristic town with reference to the urban complex model.The third is to coordinate regional development of Characteristic Towns.The fourth is to upgrade the infrastructure construction level of characteristic towns.The fifth is to strengthen the management and talent introduction of Characteristic Towns.
