At this stage, the global economy is developing rapidly, and the competition between countries and between enterprises and enterprises is becoming more and more fierce. In such a competitive environment, science and technology have clearly become a relatively important competitive factor. Therefore, all companies are competing for development and seeking innovation in order to be in a favorable position in a competitive environment. In this process, while strengthening innovation in R&D activities and increasing investment in R&D expenses, enterprises should also pay attention to strengthening the management of employees, realize the combination and coordination of material and human resources, and ensure that the R&D expenses are maximized. So,in response to various competitions outside the enterprise, enterprises should fully mobilize all resources within the enterprise to achieve coordination and coordination among various resources. In the management,it also requires close coordination between departments to better promote corporate performance. Therefore, based on the previous literature research on the relationship between R&D expenses and corporate performance, this paper will deeply analyze how R&D expenses can better promote the improvement of corporate performance and explore a new perspective on the relationship between research cost investment and corporate performance. In this paper, combing the relevant literatures at the same time, combined with in-depth theoretical analysis and effective empirical analysis, using the data of China's listed companies from 2013 to 2017,analyzing the impact of R&D expenses on corporate performance, and testing the overall staff quality within the company.Whether it has a positive adjustment effect with the technical staff in the relationship between the two.On this basis, further analysis is made on whether there is a difference between the adjustment effects under different human capital quality and structure and different industry characteristics and enterprise nature. The research results show that the R&D cost variable can positively affect the performance of the enterprise, and this positive promotion has a certain lag;The proportion of employees above the bachelor's degree in human capital and the proportion of skilled employees will also increase the performance of enterprises; The higher the proportion of employees above the undergraduate level and the proportion of technical employees, the more they can positively promote the efficiency of R&D capital investment, which means that the better the overall human capital quality within the enterprise, the more reasonable the human capital structure, the more positively the R&D expenses can be adjusted. The promotion of corporate performance. In the further group analysis, the higher the proportion of employees and the proportion of employees in the undergraduate and above, and the sample of high-tech industry groupings, this adjustment effect is more obvious.Based on the research background, research content and conclusions of this paper, this paper believes that a good corporate human capital environment can better promote the R&D expenditures to exert the benefits they deserve, thus better promoting corporate performance. Therefore, the research content and conclusions of this paper point out that enterprises should fully consider the overall human capital environment within the enterprise when doing R&D innovation strategy,so as to better exert the R&D capital efficiency based on such a human capital perspective.Provide new ideas for enterprise innovation efficiency and enterprise performance.
